Lovely hotel, great staff
Nothing all fabulous
We absolutely loved our stay at Lodore Falls. I was a little perturbed at paying an additional £90 for us both to use the spa facilities, as I'd expected these to be incorporated within the initial cost.
But otherwise, we loved it & we hope to be back again next year but only when there's a deal on, as the cost including the spa was a little over our budget.
We ordered a toasted teacake in the main bar area, which took over 40 minutes to arrive after we asked how long it would be. The bar staff did actually offer to refund us, but we hadn't set up a tab for our room and we couldn't wait any longer for her to refund it back, so we waived the refund.
Beds were very comfy

Dog friendly room was small and set far away from dog accessible area so early morning toilet call was slightly stressful

The Lodore is an old favourite and always comes up to expectation.

Great place to stay.. Exceptional breakfast. All staff are polite, efficient and professional. They go all the way to ensuring your stay is perfect. There are no problems, just solutions.
Extremely slow WiFi. Long walk to and from the car park. Very little drawer space.

The location and surrounding area are fabulous.
The hotel staff were generally friendly and it felt cosy and clean.
My single room was in-between the lift and the staircase, also above the kitchen so was noisy. I could not sleep with the window open as there was a huge AC unit outside. I was really disappointed with this.
The food in the Lodore Falls Brasserie was very average. My Spaghetti Bolognese was chopped up like kids food.
Also the breakfast was average.
