Lovely Breakfast and staff very helpful.
Fantastic location. Beautiful lake view. Gardens kept beautifully. Cleanliness of hotel was good. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful.
Spa staff were special....they presented as passionate about what they do . Lovely relaxing stay.
The breakfast selection was great and beautifully cooked and presented.
My only dislike was the coffee. I found it too cold .
Lovely hotel, staff, cleanliness- spa was a highlight.
Nothing
We loved the spa, the mizu restaurant was also unreal.
Dirty rooms, dead spiders and insects on the walls. Big black mark all over the walls. Skirting boards thick with dust. A really awful smell in the room. We requested some towels in our day of departure, they never arrived. I call again the women’s assured me she had sent someone up with them. We had to leave without showering as we was without towels.
Luxurious, exceptionally friendly, excellent food. A really cosy hotel to hang out on those damp days but equally lovely on bright sunny days
A little out from anywhere
The bar, both restaurants and spa all very modern and smart. The food was very good in Mizu as was breakfast.
We were allocated an old, noisy room which hadn’t been refurbished yet despite it being a special wedding anniversary. Which was very disappointing.
The squeaky bathroom door, being next to what sounded like a generator disturbed us throughout the night then the bin men came at 06:45 right next to our room so all we could hear was the truck reversing warning for ages. So we ended up getting up much earlier than planned.
I can’t help thinking we weren’t given a refurbished room because we didn’t book direct?
Location
Room looked at a roof
Views, location, spa
Poor value for money had to pay extra for spa
The location, nicely decorated. We loved the spa with the outdoor pool area overlooking the lake and hills
Nothing
Lovely place and nice staff
Loved it
Location comfort and facilities were great
Only one very small lift. Very inadequate and almost impossible to negotiate as the Hotel was busy. A very big minus and would be the only reason I would not recommend the Hotel. A definite game changer
The hotel is very nice and tidy and the breakfast is very good can’t comment on food as we ate out
Paid £20 short of £600 for a Mountain View got a dirty roof view with a extractor fan running 24/7 room too hot no a/c had a fan in the room but very noisy did not sleep for two nights no fridge and no slippers and dressing grown for the females
Location and Mizu restaurant
Breakfast - bread could have been more fresh
The location and views are perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive.
Because they call the hotel swimming pool a ‘hydropool’ it’s not accessible with standard room bookings and is an additional £45/person for a 2 hour Spa bookable slot. Room was sickly hot all night in May with only portable fans as inadequate respite - £300 per night B&B room with no AC?!
