the pool and the views
no fridge in room decor a little tired
Bed was comfortable and clean
Breakfast was verynice
Checkout was fine
The court yard grounds/square was smelly > dogs pee.
One chair in the room for two adults.
this has been probably the quietest hotel i've had the pleasure of staying in, no rowdy residents leaving the bar at night, thoroughly enjoyed a good night sleep. Facilities were great, a little small in the gym area but i had a good workout, pool and sauna were great too. Reception staff, bar staff and breakfast staff very friendly, and helpful.
if i were to moan, i don't like plastic beakers in the room, should really be glass, and the toiletries over the bath are ill placed, whacked my elbow on the dispenser bracket (room 20)
Liked the location and grounds. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen sink area was an unexpected bonus too. The reception staff were professional and friendly. The breakfast and evening meal were both very good.
The guests should be encouraged to smarten up, especially in the restaurant area. A smart/casual policy should be instigated in the restaurant!
The amazing breakfast. The location and views were stunning and the reception and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The fridge and kitchen area in the room was a good idea.
Bath towels could have been cleaner
Great terrace view and scenery. Pool facilities were good. Friendly staff.
Staff very friendly and we had a very good dinner in the restaurant. Lovely grounds.
Bathroom is quite dated and bedroom furniture dated/mis matched. Location is quite remote and you can't walk into Cricklade as there is no footpath on a very fast road. With such vast grounds why to the ground care staff have to cut the grass at 8am right next to our room, and then do the the remaining acres far away from accommodation during the rest of the morning?
Most of the staff were very helpful we had an incident in our room where our bath was leaking into the spa downstairs, which meant we couldn't use our shower and had to use the spa facilities as the hotel was fully booked. Long story short, Stephanie on reception, Stuart the manager and the lady who ran the spa (sorry I've forgotten her name) bent over backwards to compensate us in every way they could. They were very kind.
The inconvenience of not having a working bathroom for 2 of the 3 nights...
Excellent staff, great location and very comfortable room in the annexe. Plenty parking..
Quite a lot of choices on menu not available !!!!!

Fantastic location and views, lovely staff, good food, spacious room (we had a family courtyard room), was great to be able to use the pool and tennis court on the morning before we left
We loved it
Very good lunch in the conservatory overlooking the garden and views across the countryside. My room had a small balcony.
No air conditioning and it was a hot day. However the curtains s eere drawn when I arrived and reception made sure an electric fan was in when I got back from my evening out.
Good location to explore area.
Breakfast was excellent.
Staff very friendly and professional.
Great area to walk the dog.
The mattress was uncomfortable as were the pillows. Poor sleep.
The charge for our small dog was excessive £50 for a three night stay, way above what we paid in other hotels, with nothing provided for the dog in the room.
Beautiful place, very clean, big rooms and lovely breakfast.
A staff member at breakfast wasn’t very professional, she eavesdropped on our conversation and tried to join in which made the rest of breakfast a little awkward. Other than that encounter the stay was amazing and the rest of the staff was really welcoming and helpful.
Comfortable and spacious. Friendly reception staff, very accommodating. Facilities for all ages. Ideal for a family get together
Nothing
Everything except the TV in any room.
TV in any room has never worked properly
The hotel is comfortable and functional. Everything works, is clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff look after us so well.
Nothing. This was our second stay of three planned this year, and we expect to be back in 2027.
