Breakfast very good. Staff competent , helpful and friendly.
Only in Ranald hotel for 3 nights . Room was just what was required for my stay.
Would definitely come again and recommend to my friends

Cons:

Toilet roll holder was broken in my room.
Hairdryer didn’t work but had brought my own so no problem.
Everything else great!

Pros:

Lovely, welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them! Location was perfect, only a minute or 2 walk to the heart of Oban.

Room was a fantastic size & bathroom was huge! Perfect for us

Recommended by our wildlife tour operator on Mull, good choice because close to rail station and ferry dock; friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfy room; nice breakfast (mmm, pancakes ...); good decor with excellent pictures of sheep!

Cons:

Nothing, all good. Possibly worth mentioning that breakfast space is quite small so you need to book in at a particular time on arrival. Did not matter to us but if it does to you, maybe call ahead to get whichever slot you need for what you're doing.
