The room was dirty. The location is convenient, but not in a nice area. There was no hair dryer. We had to go to the desk to get one.

Abbiamo soggiornato al The Ranald Hotel durante una visita a Oban
La posizione è uno dei punti di forza principali: l’hotel si trova in posizione centrale e comoda, a pochi minuti a piedi dal porto e dalle principali attrazioni della città, rendendolo ideale per chi vuole muoversi facilmente senza auto.

La camera era molto pulita e ben tenuta. Anche se gli spazi possono risultare compatti, sono organizzati in modo funzionale e dotati di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole, inclusi letto comodo, bagno curato e buoni servizi in camera.

La pulizia generale era eccellente, con ambienti ordinati e ben mantenuti.

Cons:

toglierei il sensore delle luci in bagno, prevedendo il classico interruttore.
Premesso che l'illuminazione in quell'ambiente è molto "fredda" e intensa, è poco piacevole andare in bagno, soprattutto di notte, e trovarsi sparata in viso tutta quella luce.

Excellent, central hotel with lovely staff.
Pros:

Clean, comfy bed with fab bedding, automatic light in bathroom (handy for midnight wees!), great breakfast, very central for Oban and staff were absolutely delightful.

Cons:

No lift, lots of stairs to top floor and difficult for parking as on street parking close by was full. But not the hotel’s fault I guess.

Cons:

Room was very small, it was terribly hot in the room. The shower steams up pretty quick and the bathroom door is a fire door. Used my own hand fan all night as the window if opened was facing the street and noisy.

No lift and we were in the 3rd floor, having to go up and down with luggage, plus dinner and breakfast. We are a young couple so it was ok for us. Also breakfast felt chaotic as there are limited tables and people have to push through to make way to get stuff from the buffet table. I only stayed for one night so did not mind it.
Staff are very good and I guess since it was the last available room i was allocated the smallest one.
