The valet parking was messy. In that we had not checked out, but the app no longer allowed s to request our car. A big annoyance. Fir the cost, they shouldn't annoy us. BTW, the acts vallet staff were great.

The hotel is beautiful, tasteful, and so very comfortable,

Great hotel that goes out of its way to make you feel welcome
Pros:

I made multiple trips to Knoxville in 2026, starting in January. I stayed twice at the Hyatt Place and was given the best treatment on both trips. The breakfast buffet is great and the rooftop bar is a great overlook of the city. Specifically Monica went out of her way to make sure I was able to obtain a reservation last minute for my last trip in March. Then whe. I got there I was told I was the guest of the day and given some extra treats on check in. In addition, I had to extend my stay a day last minute and they gave me a room with no problems. I travel a lot for both business and pleasure and wanted to note the excellent experience and easy accessibility to downtown Knoxville resturants and nightlife. Highly recommend!

Perfect way to spend our anniversary.
Pros:

Absolutely wonderful and clean. It was so conveniently located in the downtown area that we never had to drive anywhere. It literally felt like we were at a resort with all the businesses and restaurants right out the front door.

Cons:

Loved everything.

Very nice hotel in a great location downtown Knoxville
Pros:

Great location, room was very comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. The staff working the breakfast was incredible…kept everything fresh, cleaned tables and were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooftop bar.

Cons:

The staff at the rooftop bar did not seem particularly interested in helping patrons. It is a beautiful space, but the staff could be improved.

I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place Downtown Knoxville! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. What really made the experience stand out was the exceptional staff.

A special thank you to Laura, who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always took the time to have great conversations with us. Her kindness and positive attitude truly made our stay more enjoyable and memorable.

Room with a view was a view of the building across the way
Pros:

Smack dab in the middle of downtown near the theatre district. Very walkable location. Starbucks located next to lobby. Good size room. The placement of the tv was awkward and strange. It was placed to the right side of the bed and way off from the couch. Neck strains from both positions! I booked a king with a view. My view was of the building in front of us. See my photo of the view of the building. When I mentioned this to the front desk they didn’t really care.
