Di “new” questo hotel ha solo il nome: tutto è vecchio e sporco e se avete un problema nel raggiungere l’aeroporto di Vi
Pros:

La posizione è buona. Livingstone non presenta un gran che ma l’hotel è abbastanza centrale alla strada con i principali negozietti e vicino a un mercatino.

La colazione è discreta e normale. Il servizio al ristorante buono.

Cons:

Le foto presenti su Booking sono assolutamente FALSE: la struttura è vecchia di 10 anni almeno rispetto alle foto. Tutto è vecchio, con evidenti segni di usura sia nelle aree comuni che nelle camere. La manutenzione generale andrebbe migliorata.
Il letto è risultato piuttosto scomodo e non ha garantito un buon riposo.
Il bagno è il luogo peggiore: lavandino e doccia vecchi e usurati; ci siamo fatti la doccia con l’acqua fredda, non c’è luce esterna e c’è una finestra piccola che sembra quella di un garage.
Abbiamo preso la suite per usare la vasca idromassaggio che era sporca (come anche gli asciugamani). Peccato che a metà vasca l’acqua è uscita fredda e l’idromassaggio funzionava poco.

Il servizio alla Hall PESSIMO. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere più volte conferma del trasporto dall’hotel all’aeroporto e ogni volta ricevevamo risposte differenti. Un ragazzo ci ha detto che avrebbe risolto il problema del trasporto dal border all’aeroporto di Vict Falls e qualche ora dopo una ragazza ci ha detto che avremmo dovuto provvedere noi, affermando che ci sono tantissimi taxi al confine. Peccato che al confine non c’era nessun taxi, solo camion. Ci hanno letteralmente abbandonato lì. Il peggior servizio di un hotel in Africa.
Per quello che costa non vale assolutamente!
La delusione più grande rimane la differenza fra le foto del sito/booking e la realtà: NON FIDATEVI.

Pros:

Super helpful staff, out room didn't have hot water at first and they fixed it quickly. The breakfast was quite good and extensive. The staff also helped us with transportation, dinner recommendations etc.

Cons:

The room was very odd layout, TV right in the middle and the bathroom was a bit run down.

Purtroppo il soggiorno non ha soddisfatto le aspettative. Le foto presenti su Booking mostrano la struttura così com'era probabilmente diversi anni fa: all'arrivo l'impressione è quella di un hotel molto più datato, con evidenti segni di usura sia nelle aree comuni che nelle camere. La manutenzione generale andrebbe migliorata. Il letto è risultato piuttosto scomodo e non ha garantito un buon riposo. Anche il bagno, molto essenziale, appare vecchio e usurato, con finiture ormai superate. Nel complesso la struttura avrebbe bisogno di un'importante ristrutturazione per tornare al livello mostrato nelle immagini. Il divario tra le aspettative create dall'annuncio e la realtà è stato purtroppo la delusione più grande del soggiorno.

Our Stay was awaresome and enjoyable. I will still say it again Allan & Patrick are valuable staff
Pros:

I must say that the New FairMount is indeed doing something wonderful and revamping the status of the hotel. We were given such a wonderful and superb treat, Allan and Patrick are such a valuable staff for the Hotel, we were provided with such a great receiption and generally the entire team was such a professional team.

The path to the kitchen from receiption needs to have rubber as it has a slippery section which can cause falls

Cons:

Hôtel très bruyant et malheureusement assez inconfortable, avec une Clim très faible et quasiment pas de pression d’eau. Par rapport à d’autres établissements de Linvingstone, je ne recommande pas.

Exceptional service and great location.
Pros:

Incredibly hospitable and friendly staff. Front office staff ( Jagadesh, Alan and team ) were one the most hospitable if not the most hospitable staff we have ever come across. All our needs were taken cared by them swiftly and we were even offered a few complementary services. Unmatched service and great location.

Cons:

Old property but makes up for it with excellent service and food.

Hotel needs a renovation. Excellent staff.
Pros:

Easy location on the main road. Staff was very nice. They gave me free dinner (which I opted not to have).

Cons:

Room was very loud as we slept there over the weekend and drunk people were outside our room all night long. Room needs a lot of work. Restaurant was VERY expensive with below average food quality. Breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired. Getting to your car from your room is an opportunity to be lost in a maze. Poor odor within the facility. The nice facade outside does not represent the poorly maintained facilities.

The staff are friendly and trained.
Pros:

Room was comfortable and clean as well as well designed. The bathroom though were not well designed - actually no shower, only a hand thing that one must wash yourself with. Our sister stayed closeby and also had issues with the bathroom, taps etc.
Breakfast was good and facilities generally in good order.

The parking area can be better done as people travelling with cars need to have safe parking place. The construction ongoing - even though needed - is a bit disruptive

Cons:

Showers and the bathroom is below standard. An extractor fan would be useful as the bathroom remains wet/moist the whole day as it is humid and this is not good for health as mold can start to grow etc. Towels does not dry out.
