Good animation team good hotel
Mario was so lovely, and the team!! he helped me during my stay at the hotel! such good customer service!! I highly recommend booking your holiday with the Marriott!
Every morning started with a great stretching session led by Emino from the entertainment team He was always energetic friendly and motivating making everyone feel welcome and ready for the day.
The stretching sessions were fun relaxing and a perfect way to start our holiday mornings Thank you Emino for your positive energy and for helping make our stay even more enjoyable
As someone who’s stayed over 280 lifetime nights with Marriott and held Platinum status for eight years, this is one of the most disappointing Marriott stays I’ve experienced. If you’re booking because of the Marriott name and expecting a typical Marriott experience, I’d think twice.
I actually wasn’t planning to leave a review until the Operations Manager asked me not to.
The stay itself was consistently below standard:
• Check-in information was inaccurate, communication between departments was poor, and simple requests often felt harder than they should have been.
• Pool staff openly reserved sunbeds for guests who tipped them, meaning most of the good beds were effectively gone by 7am.
• I raised a safety concern after becoming stuck in a lower level of the hotel due to incorrect information about gym opening hours and, instead of listening, the security team became aggressive.
• My wife was directed to the women’s changing room after a spa treatment only to find a male maintenance worker inside stripping and painting the ceiling whilst she was in a robe.
The most frustrating part wasn’t the issues themselves, but how they were handled.
I raised concerns early in our stay and received no response for four days. I eventually had to approach the General Manager myself when I saw him walking through the hotel. To his credit, he was friendly, apologetic and genuinely tried to put things right by offering a late checkout and complimentary spa treatments.
Unfortunately, even those arrangements went wrong. Staff called the room telling us to leave despite the agreed late checkout, waking our sleeping toddler in the process. At the spa, staff repeatedly interrupted treatments because they had confused the bookings, turning what should have been a relaxing experience into yet another source of stress.
To be fair, there are positives. Our room was perfectly fine, there are some genuinely excellent members of staff, and the General Manager handled our eventual conversation professionally.
The problem isn’t the building. It’s the management, communication and lack of consistent service standards. The hotel also feels increasingly geared towards the all-inclusive package holiday market, which appeared to make up the majority of guests during our stay. There is nothing wrong with that in itself, but the experience no longer feels aligned to what many Bonvoy members would expect from a Marriott property.
What ultimately changed my mind about leaving a review was the handling of the complaint itself. After initially ignoring the concerns for four days, the Operations Manager, Ms Ilhem Ben Haj Ali, later asked me not to leave a review and then presented me with a “Guest Satisfaction & Final Settlement Agreement” after checkout stating that the complimentary amenities offered by the hotel fully settled the matter and that I would have no further claims or requests regarding the issues raised.
At that stage, after multiple issues throughout the stay, all we wanted to do was settle our bill, leave the hotel and continue our holiday. Instead, being asked not to leave a review and then being presented with a settlement form felt completely unnecessary. I’ve attached a photo so readers can make their own judgement.
If you’ve found this hotel as part of a cheap package holiday, you may well be happy with it.
If you’re paying Marriott prices, redeeming Marriott points and expecting Marriott standards, I suspect you’ll leave disappointed.
Not sure if the other people who wrote the reviews visited the same hotel. Stars should be revoked from this hotel. Very basic, food is basic, hit and miss. Rooms aren’t the cleanest and the pool areas are small. Very noisy road outside hotel and hotel is rough. ‘Sea view’ rooms face another hotel . The other side of pool is an abandoned hotel which is an eye sore. Also, after check out we asked to use the shower faculties in another room before our late flight. We were showed to a very dirty room. No towels and non brought to us despite asking. However; this was a common occurrence all week with regards to towels . They’d be taken and not returned for hours. All staff are lovely with the exception of the managers/reception team who seem rude and uninterested . The entertainment at this hotel is shocking. It basically is non existent. It isn’t 5 stars, maybe 3 at a push

A wonderful holiday June 2026
We have just returned from a wonderful week’s holiday at Sousse Pearl Marriott Resort and Spa and we will share our experience.
The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The pool areas are clean and well maintained with clean pool towels each day. The beach is lovely again with towels provided and waiters serve you from the beach bar. The rooms are kept clean although it was a guessing game how many towels you would get and if you got a bath mat! Also coffee wasn’t provided every day. However if you ring or call at reception housekeeping will deliver to your room.
The food overall wasn’t great. Mostly lukewarm although the salads, breads, desserts and pastries were really good. The waiters in the bars and restaurants were lovely and polite and delivered all drinks to your table.
The staff in the hotel are amazing and cannot do enough for you whether you tip them or not. There are too many to mention by name but a shout out to Mario and his Animation Team. He was enthusiastic and clearly loved his job. He tried to involve everyone in activities although not pushy if you didn’t want to join in. They were always smiling, their dancing was good to watch and the music by the pool gave a proper holiday vibe. A shout out to Fowaz the lifeguard who was so helpful and put sunbeds and towels out each day and to Yassine a waiter at the pool bar who was such a pleasant and polite young man who did anything to help.
The slight negatives did not outweigh the positives and we would definitely return.
فندق جميل وراح تتكرر ان شاءالله

كل شي جميل جداً واحب اشكر الاستاذة وفاء كثير الشكر على استقبالها الحلو وابتسامتها اللطيفه وشكر خاص لزهير حبيب القلب
This exceptional five-star hotel offers everything you could wish for during your holiday.
Although it's quite a large resort, the atmosphere is very pleasant and everyone can find a quiet place to relax.
A big plus is the adults-only pool and the large availability of sunbeds.
The food was delicious – diverse, delicious, and full of local flavors. And the desserts… simply heavenly :)
But what truly makes this hotel special is its staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. They made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay.
Special thanks to Fathi for the perfect service in the restaurant and to the lovely gentlemen at the Soho Lounge, who kept us in good spirits in the evenings :)
We highly recommend this hotel! Greetings from Poland :)
I had an unexpected emergency and needed to stay one night in Sousse. Since I had not planned to stay, I did not have my credit card with me and only had a limited amount of cash. I was quite stressed when I arrived, but Mr. Haroun at the reception was extremely professional and reassuring. He calmly listened to my situation and informed me that I could pay using my iPay wallet. I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and high-tech the hotel is.
I would also like to thank Mr. Fadi, whose warm welcome and adorable smile immediately made me feel comfortable. He took the time to introduce me to all the hotel's facilities and services.
Although my visit was not for tourism purposes, this experience convinced me that I will definitely come back for a leisure stay in the future.
The hotel enjoys a very good location and, most importantly, it is impressively clean—chapeau bas! The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are quiet, and I had a very peaceful night's sleep. The food was good, fresh, and well-presented, and the restaurant staff were attentive and professional.
I would also like to express my sincere thanks to the reception team, especially Sofi, Mohamed, Siwar, Abir, and Madame Wafa, who welcomed me warmly and demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout my stay.
Thank you to the entire team for turning a stressful situation into such a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon.
انصح فيه بشدة وراح تتكرر ان شاءالله واحب اشكر الاستاذه وفاااء كثير الشكر واشكر الاستاذ هارون والاستاذ زهير 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
