Lovely relaxed hotel. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Breakfast and evening meal was exceptional. Room had all the facilities. Beautifully clean. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower. Bed huge and comfortable too.
Lovely setting. Grounds very well kept. Great outdoor space.
Location and setting surrounded by beautiful gardens with extended patios
Nothing
Lovely setting and cute hotel. Good sized room. Bed and pillows comfy.
Shower leaked onto bathroom floor
Lamps very dusty
Kettle hadn't been emptied from previous guests
The rooms were really comfortable with nice little touches such as water and biscuits. The breakfast was good quality and nice friendly staff.
Nothing really comes to mind.
Good location and facilities. Very clean and in good order. Lovely grounds. Breakfast very good.
And special hats off to Phil the Barman. Good service, with a smile 😃
The fan is broken , the guard is broken so it's dangerous and in this weather you need a fan.
Location to Stanwick lakes, individual Chalet type accommodation and Aircon (not that we had to use it).
Nothing
Lovely property very well maintained throughout. New outdoor bar and seating area really nice
Breakfast exceptional
Nothing
Beautiful setting lovely quaint hotel
The room was very hot but they do provide a fan and we had metal spiral staircase up to our room which was cute but not for older people to go up and down. We were fine though
Very nice and clean hotel the staff all seem polite and friendly with a smile on their faces regardless of how hot it was, the grounds are beautiful and well looked after such a beautiful hidden gem!!!
Brilliant location. The price to stay
They even supplied a large fan
Nothing to dislike
The gardens and general ambience
Preferred the buffet breakfast on the Sunday rather than waitress service especially as there weren’t enough staff on for the number of guests.
Would have liked a mat in shower as the base became slippery.
Clean comfortable large bed and air conditioning . The food in the restaurant was also excellent
Nothing just a little noisy from the bar until it shut
The location was perfect for us as we had to travel into Rushden the next morning. The main bar / restaurant area is nicely decorated and welcoming. The outside bar / terrace area was also very good and had plenty of power points around for people who wished to work (my wife did exactly this).
The room was very spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was great with a lovely walk in shower.
Overall, a nice little village hotel set in lush nature and gardens - very relaxing and peaceful.
As it was a Sunday, the kitchen closed at 4.30pm so there was no opportunity to have dinner there.
