Un posto davvero da raccomandare
Pros:

Ogni confort in ogni parte dell’hotel. Una stanza lussuosamente arredata.
La gentilezza dello staff, la calma di notte.

Cet hôtel est une perle rare
Pros:

Établissement à taille humaine où l’on se sent vraiment bien ; personnel chaleureux, disponible et bienveillant. Chambre spacieuse, très bien équipée, parfaitement insonorisée et surtout, lit extrêmement confortable ; loin des literies dures comme la pierre qui sont souvent la norme au Japon. Quant à l’emplacement, il ne peut pas être meilleur à Kyoto. En bref, l’un des meilleurs hôtels dans lequel j’ai séjourné lors de mes nombreux voyages au Japon.

Das Bett war super, sehr bequem und bestes bisher. Es war sauber und ruhig, Lage perfekt.

Cons:

Keinesfalls ein 5 Sterne Hotel. Bei google 4 Sterne Bewertung und auch das zu hoch. Das Frühstück ist tatsächlich eine Frechheit und nicht zu unterbieten. Es gab im Prinzip nur das Hotelzimmer und sonst keine Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten. In der Toilette war Schimmel. Wenn man es als 5 Sterne kennzeichnet, dann muss es dem auch entsprechen.

Big room, but old and very noisy. No normal breakfast.
Pros:

Room was big, but old.

Cons:

They had no breakfast facilities, the breakfast was brought to the room but it was not European, so we were always hungry afterwards. The location is good, but was no view and was terribly noisy at high and early morning.

Convenient and comfortable!
Pros:

The location of this hotel is incredible to subway and central Kyoto. The room is so spacious, especially compared to our rooms in Tokyo. The bed was the most comfortable we had in Japan. Staff were very kind and helpful, especially with helping to ship our bags to our next hotel. This is a property I will absolutely recommend to anyone I know coming to Kyoto.

Pleasant room overlooking the river; in the Gion while with easy walking distance to public trans.
Pros:

Breakfast is okay. Japanese breakfast was very good; western breakfast was more Japanese. Needed to eat in the room because the breakfast area is very limited. This was okay because we had a large room with a very nice art deco table overlooking the river.
