I love its proximity to every thing. It’s about an 8 minute walk from the JR Ueno station. Plenty of food options around. Train station (Ginza Line) is 3 minutes away. I also loved that they equipped the room with a Refa Hair dryer, Refa Hair Straightener, and a Refa Shower head. That dryer did some wonderful magic to my hair.

Cons:

I didnt like that the shower door was facing the beds. It was a bit distracting at night, sleeping with the shower door facing the beds.

Nice hotel in Ueno.
Pros:

Excelente ubicación para conocer Tokyo y viajar a Narita

Excelente ubicación y muy cómodo para viajar por Tokyo

Nuestra estancia en KOKO HOTEL fue excelente. La ubicación es muy conveniente, muy cerca de varias estaciones de metro y del parque Ueno. Además, la estación de tren es de gran ayuda tanto para la llegada como para la salida hacia Narita, especialmente si llevas equipaje.

La habitación estaba limpia, era cómoda y tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. El servicio de lavandería también es muy bueno, sobretodo para quienes planean quedarse varios días en Tokyo.

El personal fue muy amable y atento durante toda nuestra estancia. También nos ayudaron tanto a recibir como a enviar nuestro equipaje, lo cual facilitó muchísimo nuestro viaje.

Sin duda, una excelente opción para hospedarse en Tokyo. ¡Lo recomendaría y volvería a quedarme aquí!

Stay elsewhere.
Pros:

Good location close to train stations, food, and other attractions.
While being on the smaller room size, it was set up well so that we could fit our bags easier than some of the larger rooms we stayed in elsewhere.
The staff were very helpful when changing rooms.

Cons:

Dirty uncomfortable rooms. First room had a terrible smell, peeling wallpaper, holes in the wall, and dusty and mouldy blinds. Spoke to reception and they moved us to a higher floor which was in better condition but still very poor. The room had a slight musty smell but not like the original, but still had peeling wallpaper, there was thick amounts of dust on the walls, and the inside of the bathroom door had mould on it and behind the toilet looked like it had never been cleaned.
Bed was very uncomfortable and only provided 2 (very soft) pillows for a 2 person room.
Booked for 2 nights, left after 1 night and stayed elsewhere.
Even the lift was not cleaned. Could see hand prints on the mirror because of the amount of dust around it.
Would never stay again. Worst hotel of our trip and very similar price to other hotels we stayed at some of which were 4+ stars.

Clean, good location and good value
Pros:

The location is very good. Also, the lounge in the second floor was very nice.

Cons:

Being this is a hotel in Tokyo, we are happy with the hotel even though the rooms are so little. It was difficult to communicate in English, but this was an issue we had in the whole trip. As this is a hotel, full of tourists, we were surprised that staff did not speak English at all.
