We were just having a one night stopover and were impressed.
Pros:

We found the hotel to be relaxed and comfortable. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
The staff were excellent.

Cons:

A noisy door to the laundry cupboard was a little irritating, however once highlighted to the staff it was resolved quickly.

Voortreffelijk ontbijt, met bediening aan tafel..
Mooie kamer.
Edinburgh met lijn 37 gemakkelijk te bereiken, duurt iets langer dan een uur

Cons:

Wir hatten leider nicht das Zimmer was wir gebucht hatten 19 Quadratmeter plus großes Bett. Es war sehr klein und eng (ca. 12 Quadratmeter), das Bett war 140 cm breit, mein Mann ist 1,85 groß und kräftig, das war schon sehr beengt für uns. Schade

It was a fantastic way to see the country of Scotland and only a short bus ride to the big city of Edinburgh.

Absolute gem of a hotel - perfect in every way
Pros:

Absolute gem of a hotel. Beautiful decor, huge comfy bed, lovely walk in shower. Bar area and restaurant were well presented, comfortable and served delicious food and drinks (great to see a cocktail menu!). Breakfast was generous and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Genuinely perfect stay.

Comfortable base with good breakfast and restaurant on site.
Pros:

Good location for a stop off on our return home from Aberdeen. The hotel and room have recently been refurbished and was clean with a comfortable bed and modern shower room. Heavy curtains which blocked out light. Tea, coffee and biscuits were supplied along with nice toiletries. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and good service. We also enjoyed an evening meal here.

Cons:

Small double bed compared to most hotels these days. We paid around double the normal price because the Royal Highland show was on, although we weren't going to the show. This resulted in me giving a lower rating for value for money.
