Pros:

Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, la posizione ottima anche senza auto (anche se ne passano pochissimi i bus di linea fermano proprio sotto all’hotel). Ottimo anche il ristorante dove abbiamo goduto di una buonissima cena.

Perfect location between Limone and Tenda pass.
Pros:

Edelweiss is centrally located between Limone and Tenda pass. Whether you hear, at least in summer, noise from the street or the school vacation facility on the other side depends on the side of the room. We have thankfully been offered to switch to the mountain side plus an upgrade. The breakfast is great, also the restaurant. The owner also picked us up up in nearby Limonetto, as we were hiking the GTA. To mention that there is a bus to Limone.

Colazione ottima, personale veramente gentile e disponibile, garage funzionale, camera pulita e carina, con arredi in legno caratteristici, d'epoca.

Cons:

Il bagno era comunque in ordine e pulito, preferirei avere il bidet come dotazione.

Cons:

Pour 225€ + 30€ de supplément pour notre chien, on s'attendait à mieux! Dès l'arrivée on nous demande en plus 30€ pour notre chien!, la chambre est sous les toits avec une fenêtre minuscule qui donne sur la route nationale et la colonie de vacances, voitures la nuit et les jeux d'enfants dès 8 heures du matin, pas de clim, et une télé minuscule. Petit déjeuner moyen avec jus de fruits insipide! Week end decevant

Wonderful hospitality, great food
Pros:

Family run hotel with a true gift of hospitality. Renovated room. Quality bed linens. Wonderful spa area. Excellent restaurant and staff. Hotel is undergoing renovation so it is noisy during the day but the staff compensated in other ways for the inconvenience.

I had to leave before breakfast to make it through the Col de Tende before it closed. One of the staff came in early to make sure that I had a cappucino and a coronetto before I left. It was even still warm from the oven. Very sweet.

Cons:

Bed is very hard. A fan in the room to circulate air would be nice.
