We were very happy with the property. We had a very big and comfortable room, and the property is very centrally located. Close to the center of Bitola. We could walk to everything.
The owners were very accommodating and friendly.
We highly recommend the Ambasador Hotel Bitola

Avoid at all costs !
Cons:

The hotel information is somewhat misleading. There is no 24-hour front desk, except by phone call, which doesn't count. During my 2 days in the hotel, I didn't see the reception desk manned even for one second. Also, the description says there is a restaurant: true, but not functional, so again it doesn't count. Actually, I should rectify: it's not functional for ordinary guests. They did rent it out for some very loud private function on Sunday evening and it kept me awake until 2 AM. Giving ordinary guests the possibility to sleep on a week night is not a concern for the hotel.

On another note, there was no privacy in the bathroom. The window has direct view on the windows of the neighbouring house (which is very near, less than 2 m I think). The neighbours can in theory watch you on the toilet. To gain some privacy and dignity, I had to repurpose one of the bath towels as a curtain (no mean feat in itself).

Really lovely city, wonderful historic site. The hotel was just a few minutes walk from the main centre.
Upgraded on arrival to a huge room with lounge area.

Comfortable stay, good value for money in a good location.
Pros:

Good location, only a short walk (5 min) to all shops and restaurants. The room was clean and tidy.

Cons:

The air conditioner in our room only just kept the room cool - it would have been nicer having a cold AC in the middle of summer, but it worked okay for night time.

it is not a 4-star hotel, it is a fake
Pros:

I didn't like anything

Cons:

first of all, it is not a hotel, the name hotel is a fake, they are some hotel-style apartments, which has nothing to do with the classification of a four-star hotel. We changed 3 rooms, the first one had a double bed so small it only fit one person, the second room was so dirty the cobwebs were so big, it was like you were in a horror movie, and the third room you could hear all the noises outside and the noises produced by the air conditioning units that you couldn't sleep at all.
