Best forgotten
Pros:

town centre parking

Cons:

At breakfast there was no option for cereals or fruit etc and the 'full Scottish breakfast' was awful and mostly inedible

Not good value for money - worth half the amount charged
Pros:

Very little I’m afraid. Free parking but rubbish dump in the car park.

Cons:

Very tired. Room not very clean which didn’t help. Poor food - I decided to breakfast elsewhere after my evening meal. Short staffed.

Would be a good hotel if they played a little more attention to cleanliness
Pros:

Location was good and the staff were polite and accomodating

Cons:

The fly tipping area at the back of the property. I realise this is their hotel but dumping old beds and stuff in the corner of the back was unsightly. There was even what appeared to be dog food or just food for vermin?

Pros:

Diese Frage ist schwer zu beantworten. Die Nähe zu den Abbeys.

Cons:

Das Bad war ziemlich verschimmelt, die Bodenbeläge schmutzig und das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig.

A good place to stay, but could be better.
Pros:

Centrally located within the town.

Cons:

Hotel staff were really stretched in the bar running a quiz night that adversely affected my check in and, in my humble opinion, the quality of the evening meal.

Overpriced for what & where it is.
Pros:

Ample parking spaces. Ease of check in was good. Decent wifi.

Cons:

The bedroom door & bathroom door were easily confused during the night after awakening from a deep sleep, too easy to open during the night into the hall half asleep.
Very overpriced. Needs a thorough paint job.

There was bed bugs in the bed and the second room we were moved in had a dirty carpet that was obviously not hoovered, bathroom floor not clean, urine stained mattress and room smelt extremely unpleasant because of this

Boarders Get a Way
Pros:

The very friendly helpful staff, particularly Mary the proprietor, she ensured we were made to feel at "home" nothing was too much for her to help make our stay enjoyable. We look forward to returning in the future to see the changes planned for the hotel.😃 Great location great staff.
