Great location to explore Osaka
Pros:

Great location. Easy to get to all metros and trains, as well as the shopping areas. Free coffee and drinks. Great staff.

Pros:

Mooi hotel met goede ligging ten opzichte van bezienswaardigheden en openbaar vervoer. Kamers zijn redelijk ruim en heel schoon.

Cons:

Incheck proces was wat onduidelijk vanwege een mail die vooraf gestuurd werd. Badkamer is aan de kleine kant.

The Rooms & Cleanliness:
The first room we were assigned was poorly vacuumed, the bedsheets were not fresh, and we found two hairs in the shower cubicle. After complaining, the staff did move us to a second room. While the floor in the second room was clean, the bed covers unfortunately were not. To make matters worse, the hallway leading to our room had a very strong, unpleasant odor. Every time we returned, we had to open and close our room door as quickly as possible to prevent the smell from entering our space.
The Breakfast:
While there was a decent variety of options, the quality simply did not match the high standard of Japanese cuisine. However, the breaking point came on our first morning: behind a plant pot in the dining area, we spotted a large cockroach (which I photographed). Needless to say, that was the last time we set foot in the breakfast room.
Conclusion:
Perhaps one could overlook some of these issues if they were paying rock-bottom budget prices. Personally, I wouldn't accept these conditions at any price point, but given that this hotel charges around €100 a night—virtually the same as its much better competitors—I cannot recommend it. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a true, clean Japanese hospitality experience.

Comfortable and friendly hotel near trains, restaurants and shopping.
Pros:

Location was excellent. Near Shinsaibashi station and one block away from Shinsaibashi-suji (covered shopping street). About 20 mins walk to Dotonbori. Close to Namba station.
Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom spotless with good water pressure in shower. Free tea, coffee, juice and soup 10am to 10 pm. Could also eat your own food at the tables during this time. Breakfast was buffet with range of cereals, pastries, eggs, bacon and Japanese dishes.
Staff were friendly and helpful…thank you Jan.
Would stay here again.
