Would 100% recommend this hotel (esp the sea view rooms) if you plan on visiting Unawatuna beach!
Pros:

This accommodation sat right on the beachfront which made accessing the beach super easy, which me and the family really appreciated. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and provided with coconut water refreshments and the staff were very helpful with our luggages. We stayed in the 'family room with sea view' on the second floor, and both the room and attached bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The room had a balcony which offered a very picturesque view of the shore. Breakfast was lovely as it also offered a wonderful, immersive view of the beach. Special mentions must be made for the polite and friendly staff like Lathika, who worked at the reception and Florence, who served us breakfast. They were both incredibly helpful and accommodating!

Pros:

Everything was perfectly beautiful 😍. The staff amazing and friendly and very accommodating. They went out of their way to cater to our dietary requirements. Florence is an amazing hostess and such a delight.

Cons:

Nothing, but an inclusion of a bar fridge and kettle in the room would be amazing.

Pros:

Nice hotel locatel at the end of beautiful sandy beach wirh great view. Large family rooms for two guests with big terracce. The personal was very friendly and helpfull, especially ladies at reception desk and Florence at breakfast restaurant.

Fantastisk hotell med ypperlig beliggenhet! Vi ville reist hit igjen!
Pros:

Masse frukt og muligheter for å lage toast. Sri langkost og vestlige alternativer. Alt var godt!
Hyggelig betjening og fantastisk beliggenhet!!

Cons:

Kaffen kunne vært bedre, klassisk Sri lankisk.
Ikke alle rom har myggnetting, vi bodde her i to ulike omganger da vi var svært fornøyd. Lampeskjermene på ett av rommene vi bodde på hadde sett sine bedre dager.

Завтрак скромный, обычный, но вполне нормальный. Отель очень скромный, но чистый, персонал отличный, позитивный, готовый помочь в любом вопросе.

Cons:

Хотелось бы улучшить оснащение номера. Например добавить полотенца, т.к. одно полотенце для всего не очень гигиенично. Нет фена, это тоже некоторое неудобство. Вода наливается в бутылку, не совсем понятно откуда ее наливают. Стоит в номер воду давать в фабричной упаковке. Нет самых простеньких тапочек.

Spent 4 nights here as a family and never wanted to leave.
Beautiful location right on the beach, modern clean and excellent rooms, great top quality food but the beat bit is the staff.
They are so kind and helpful.
4 days is not enough.
You will not be disappointed!

Lovely hotel, great little beach, top breakfast
Pros:

Such a lovely welcome at this hotel. All the staff were lovely, especially those on reception and Florence at breakfast each day. That girl was insistent we should eat plenty of fruit! Perfectly placed at the quieter end of the town. An easy walk in both directions to nice places to eat and drink.

Cons:

The turtles didn’t come to play while we were there! We’ll need to go back.

Cons:

At that price point, we expected more. This was the 12th out of 13 accommodations we had visited in Sri Lanka over a month and was easily the most expensive and easily the worst equipped room. Also disappointing breakfasts: we have had some beautifully prepared breakfasts during our visit to Sri Lanka and this breakfast was poor in comparison. If it had not been for the delightful staff the score would have been lower. The noise from the street (main road from Galle to Matara) and ocean made for four sleepless nights for is, as light sleepers.
