Location and parking
Hotel staff and facilities fall far short for the price charged
Location of the hotel was not far from the town, in peaceful countryside with plenty of free parking. Very nice decor and furniture throughout. Bedroom was spacious and clean with a view over the garden towards hills. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was helpful to have the small fridge in the room, especially as there was a heatwave. Staff were friendly and pleasant throughout. The cooked breakfast was very good with a variety of choices and served to the table. For a reasonable additional charge we enjoyed using the spa facilities, which were very clean and well-maintained. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed after a peaceful overnight stay and hope to return soon.
Nothing to dislike - all very good thank you.
The room was spacious and we'll equipped. The en-suite shiwer roon was great.
Quiet location. Staff at breakfast are friendly snd very efficient
There was no-one on reception when we arrived and we were ignored by staff behind the bar. There was no greeting or welcome given and inot much nformation. We asked about late entry and were assured that the door would be open. However, we and other guests found ourselves locked out at 11.45pm. There was no answer when we called reception, and we only got in because we disturbed another guest who got up to let us in.
Good location, quiet. Clean & comfortable .
It was a lovely characterful building in the countryside. Views from our room were of fields. Lovely and peaceful!
The only downside was the communal carpets were quite worn.
The peaceful location, lovely views, Temple Spa products in bathroom. Helpful staff. Rooms comfortable with everything you’d need for a nights stay.
Nothing really! Maybe some parts need a little maintenance and spruce up but nothing that spoilt our stay.
Location was very important.
Lovely and secluded. Only 2 miles away from ludlow. Staff were great food was excellent. In this hot weather it was lovely they had a bar. Room was great nice big king bed lovely walk in shower. All round it was just great
Nothing
Clean and welcoming
No views. Very slow breakfast service
Very comfortable and well located
The location was grand. We had a nice view of the main road on looking the fields.
The breakfast was actually disgusting (sorry).
Myself and my partner could not finish it, we waited nearly 30 minutes for a simple breakfast, it wasnt even busy but we politely waited and was greatly disappointed with the quality and taste of the food.
I paid over the odds for soggy strawberrys left in a broken fridge which couldn't keep cold enough with prosecco that equally wasnt cold on arrival sadly.
The bucket should have been filled with ice, but instead it was just water to keep it cool, not cold.
Asking staff simple questions about location taxi, surroundings were quite useless. They were very young.
The location was good and the staff were friendly.
The room didn't look very clean. Found hair that shouldn't be on the bed on it.
The shower wasn't very clean and the floor sloped.
Breakfast met our expectations .
Because of the unusually high UK temperatures , the bedroom was very hot - no air conditioning ( not normally required in previous stays ) .
The staff here are all very friendly & helpful & efficient.
The ground floor room was perfect for my husband who uses a walking stick. It was well equipped & spacious.
Both the room & public areas could do with a deep clean. Bedding etc was clean, however the room had lots of cobwebs & the blinds etc were very dusty..The bathroom floor & tiles also looked dirty. There were also several dead flies on the window ledge in the dining area.
This would not stop us from visiting again, as we did really enjoy our stay, however I feel that it should be addressed.
Struttura accogliente e pulita. Camere curate e silenziose, colazione buona. Soggiorno piacevole.
We loved the location. The staff were amazingly helpful.
The spa was lovely and the massage we booked perfect, staff were very welcoming.
The grounds are lovely and it was within a 20min walk to the town.
Rooms were large and inviting.
No air conditioning in the rooms and it was extremely hot, we had a small fan in the room that struggled with the conditions.
There was a fridge in the room with a note saying 'delicious snacks inside but only contained small milk portions, no water. There were glasses and coffee/tea making facilities.
Unfortunately our room was missed on cleaning and we had to raise with the duty manager but sorted pretty quickly.
The shampoo and washing facilities seem watered down.
Would be interested to see what the new owner has in mind.
The food was lovely but the venue choices limited.
None of these things put us off returning but when we would we hope to see some love put back into the venue. Some services are very hit and miss
Easy parking - spa facilities
Looks bit old and tired, room cleaning below expectation and breakfast needs improvement, such as fresh fruit and sourdough bread. Our room was very hot and hard to sleep
