Excellent location. Beautifully clean and well appointed rooms. We only booked a standard room, thought about upgrading but glad we didn’t bother because our room was lovely. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
It’s easy to get lost in the corridors
Excellent stay at this beautiful hotel, the building is amazing.
The staff were very attentive told us all about the history of this lovely hotel. Breakfast in the Marco Pierre White restaurant was excellent lots of choice on offer.

Diner was disappointing as we had such expectations that fell short. Having said that the staff serving our table were excellent.

It was very near to the centre and all the amenities, restaurants and shops etc
Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room with little extras (drinks, nexpresso machine, canned water) good toiletries, very comfortable bed, offer of refilling teas/ coffees etc, on day 2 without having to ask, had a fridge in the room that I wasn't expecting. A beautful old and characterful building that was well maintained and smart inside.
