Artnatur Dolomites Hotel & Spa

Unfortunately, our stay at Artnatur Dolomites Hotel & Spa was far from the experience we expected.
From the moment we arrived, things started badly. The parking was not available, and the lady at the front desk was rude and unhelpful.
The pool area was incredibly noisy with so many children running around that it felt more like a kindergarten than a spa. The water was cold, including the jacuzzi, which made the whole wellness experience rather disappointing.
We stayed in room 212, and the sound insulation was shockingly poor. Every time the neighbors flushed their toilet, the noise was so loud in our bedroom that it genuinely sounded as if water was about to come through the walls. This is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this category.
The worst experience, however, happened during breakfast. We were brought very hot glasses for cold drinks which was rather unpleasant. When we pointed this out, the waiter was extremely rude. The situation escalated to the point where, after going into the back area, we could hear him insulting and swearing about us. The restaurant manager was much more pleasant and tried to handle the situation, but unfortunately it felt more like an attempt to smooth over the incident than properly address the employee's behaviour. The same waiter, a night before, during dinner kept mistaken our dishes with the dishes from the table near us…
There were, however, two positive aspects. The dinner was genuinely very good, with quality ingredients and beautifully prepared dishes. The breakfast itself also looked very good, although the unpleasant behaviour of the waiter completely ruined the experience for us.
Overall, though, we expected a much higher level of professionalism, service and comfort from a hotel of this standard. The facilities and food alone cannot compensate for poor sound insulation, a disappointing spa experience and, above all, such unprofessional treatment from staff.

Il servizio dei pasti a tavola. Colazione ok con tanta varietà e qualità. La cena invece tempi di attesa lunghi e cibo di qualità solo accettabile nonostante lo chef abbia cercato di migliorare al massimo i piatti. L’organizzazione è il servizio al tavolo ha lasciato un po’ a desiderare

No air condition, which is the standard in the Dolomites. It was OK in most of the nights, but if you want to stay in the room during the hot hours at noon, it is not great in July.
Across the street from the bedroom window is a beautiful church. The problem is that they ring the bells every 15 minutes beginning at 6:00. At 7:00 they ring it more than 20 times. That will make sure everybody is fully awake.
