Heel fijne locatie in de heuvels buiten Kandy. Ideaal voor een bezoek aan Kandy en vlakbij de start van etappe 1 van de pekoe trail. Vriendelijke en behulpzame host, lekker eten, mooie kamer, mooie ruime woning…

My wife and I returned to the same accommodation after 12 years, now with our friends and family. We loved staying in the heart of the jungle while still being just a short drive from the city of Kandy. The hospitality of the staff is truly exceptional. Thank you, Ananda!

1. The location, surrounding by green nature
2. The hosts were so welcoming and lovely
3. Facilities were great, hot shower, comfortable beds, lots of areas to relax, coffee in the morning
4. Peaceful, tranquil and quiet (away from busy city)

Unfortunately, our stay at this property was not pleasant. Despite its high rating, it felt like the place had not been properly maintained or renovated for many years.

The room was dirty, with mold on the walls and in the bathroom, ants in the room, mold on the curtains, and a dirty refrigerator. The bathroom also needed a thorough cleaning.

The owner seemed to be a kind and friendly person, but the condition of the room was disappointing. Because of this, I cannot recommend this property. It would greatly benefit from a deep cleaning and proper maintenance.

Perfect spot for us to stay ahead of starting the Pekoe Trail. Moses was an excellent host - we were able to store our luggage while we were hiking, and we also made use of the laundry services offered. The meals were delightful also!

Prima locatie in een geweldig oud huis met heel kamers en doorgangen. Je ziet de apen achter elkaar aan vangen door de bomen.

The property has a charming, old-villa character that makes you feel right at home. The local staff were warm and helpful, and the owners were exceptionally kind and accommodating. We especially appreciated their flexibility with our partial cancellation and their generosity in providing a full refund.

Extremely comfortable and clean room. Beautiful and peaceful location. Hospitality of the hosts made the stay a home away from home. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway..

Quiet location and the views

Short distance to Ceylon Tea Museum and the Pekoe Trail (3 km). Quit area, surrounded by nature. Friendly owners. They gave a bigger room for the same amount. Very good spicy dinner. Exactly as I ordered it.

Leider waren wir nur für eine Nacht zu Besuch. Sehr sympathischer Gastgeber. Schönes Familienzimmer in einem schönen Haus. Zu Fuss eher schwierig und etwas weit.

This property is amid kush greenery, and is quite posh for the price charged. You can see beautiful sunrise from the balcony.. The glass walls in the room offer scenic views as well. The host and the family were quite cooperative and down to earth. Would highly recommend this place.

Hanthana Villa and the family have my heart. Couldn’t feel I was miles and miles away from home. Had Delicious breakfast and lunch. Loved every bit. Such kind and humble souls.

Anand and his family are wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make a vegan breakfast for us and helped us arrange transport. Just lovely people!
The environment of the property is also very quiet and green, you wake up with the birds singing :)

Soba je bila prostorna, udobna in čista. Zajtrk je bil zelo dober. Gostitelj je bil zelo prijazen, ustrežljiv in komunikativen. Uredil nam je prevoz s tuk tuk do spice garden in tovarne diamantov. Na voljo je bil sušilnik za lase.
