Wonderful practical option for your stay in Tokyo

Love our stay at this wonderful little MIMARU. These little hotels are practical, clean and always well located close to metro stops and convenience stores. Great option for families or business travelers.

Outstanding location
Pros:

Akasaka is a perfect base for exploring all the main Tokyo areas. The hotel was on a main road very close to the Akasaka Chiyoda Line underground stop, with a convenience store across the road and many restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment was neat and pleasant

Cons:

The apartment, while neat nd pleasant, was a bit small for a family of four, with not a lot of storage space. In any case this wasn’t a big problem as we spent most of the day outside.

Pros:

Perfect for families. We stayed with our 10 month old and they had everything we needed - a high chair, nappy bin, crib and a kitchenette. The onsite washing machines and dryers were also great. The location was excellent and the staff were all very helpful.

Lovely experience!
Pros:

We were here for a week. The staff was friendly, helpful and the rooms fairly spacious. It was easy. Towels changed everyday and beds made every other day which was fine by us. We loved the location. Super quiet with a 7-11 across the street which had things we needed, money exchange machine and a great latte (given that it’s a 7-11)! But less than 8 mins walk away is a street with more restaurants than you can count. The Akasaka train station is a 5 mins walk. Also pretty central to both Shibuya/Harajuku and Ginza so if you needed to cab it, it’s about 10 mins. We used the laundry facilities which was a selling point for us. Bonus points for the fresh pajamas they provide that you can pick up at the reception area.

The rooms were hot and musty. The elevators took forever - only one elevator and no stairs.

Pros:

방이 넓어서 3인이 쓰기 좋았습니다. 숙소와 도쿄의 다른 주요 지점들이 가깝고 주변에 여러 지하철 라인들을 이용할 수 있어서 교통이 편리했습니다. 직원도 친절하고 숙소도 깨끗했습니다. 침대와 침구 모두 불편함 없었고 욕실도 넓었습니다. 옥상에 작지만 루프탑이 있어서 도쿄타워가 살짝 보이는 시내 뷰를 볼 수 있습니다. 다음에 다시 도쿄를 방문하면 또 이용할 것 같습니다.

Cons:

미마루역에서는 무척 가깝고 미마루아카사카역에서는 조금 걸어야 한다고 생각해야합니다. 하지만 역 가는 길이 안전하고 편하고 아침식사나 저녁거리를 해결할 수 있는 곳들도 많고 편의점도 많아서 걷는데에 힘들지는 않습니다.

Fantastic Find
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Had two apartments interconnecting. Quiet, comfortable, amazing staff. Handy laundry. Great base for a few days.
