Much More than we could’ve asked for !
Pros:

The Location is quite central to the old quarter. We loved the night market and beer street experience !

Rooms are pretty big for the old quarter area. They were kind enough to provide luggage services and a place to shower, even after our stay was over.

More importantly, I have to commend the hospitality and warmth all the people at golden rooster have shown us. Making our stay here a dream :)

Une expérience catastrophique du début à la fin.

Nous avions réservé pour 6 personnes, dont 4 enfants, et l’hôtel nous a entassés tous les six dans une chambre d’environ 15 m², totalement inadaptée à une famille de cette taille. Nous avions trouvé un autre hôtel et demandé à annuler, mais le Golden Rooster a refusé. Nous avons donc été contraints de rester dans ces conditions.

Les lits supplémentaires étaient payants alors qu’ils étaient indispensables pour accueillir les 6 personnes prévues dans la réservation. Les matelas étaient tellement durs et inconfortables que mon épouse s’est complètement bloqué le dos et a souffert pendant plusieurs jours.

La chambre était également sale et mal entretenue : les photos parlent d’elles-mêmes.

Concernant le petit-déjeuner, là encore, il suffit de regarder les photos. Très peu de choix, une présentation peu appétissante et une qualité vraiment médiocre. Certainement l’un des plus mauvais petits-déjeuners de notre voyage.

Nous avons rarement constaté un tel décalage entre ce qui est vendu et la réalité. Chambre minuscule, propreté douteuse, literie inconfortable, petit-déjeuner mauvais et aucune compréhension lorsque nous avons voulu partir.

Cet hôtel a clairement gâché une partie de notre séjour à Hanoï. Nous le déconseillons absolument. À éviter à tout prix, particulièrement pour les familles.

Prima hotel maar niks bijzonders

Prima locatie, erg centraal.

Cons:

Ontbijt stelde niet zoveel voor. Taaie frietjes, geen verse sappen en weinig keus.
We hadden voor 5 personen een 4-persoonskamer geboekt want er zou een kinderbed bijgeplaatst kunnen worden, dat zou ideaal zijn voor ons kind van 6 jaar. Toen we arriveerden moesten we er zelf om vragen terwijl de boeking aangeeft dat we met 5 personen zijn, daarnaast een discussie over waar het bed moest komen in de kamer. Oja en tot slot moesten we er extra voor betalen. Geen wereldse bedragen maar een beetje flauw.

Best hotel we stayed at in Vietnam!

10/10 – The best hotel we stayed at in Vietnam!
We stayed in three different hotels during our trip through Vietnam, and this was by far the best one.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We were greeted with cold towels and a welcome drink, which was a lovely touch after traveling. The reception team was always friendly, professional, and happy to help, no matter the time of day or night.
They also helped us with our luggage and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more special.
The service was outstanding throughout our entire stay. Everyone was attentive, kind, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience.
We enjoyed our stay so much that after going on an excursion, we decided to book the same hotel again instead of trying somewhere else. I think that says everything!
Highly recommended. If we ever come back to this area, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the entire team for such an amazing experience!
