Séjour parfait au Golden Rooster, 10/10. L'emplacement est idéal, en plein Vieux Quartier : on fait tout à pied, le lac Hoàn Kiếm, la rue du train, le marché Đồng Xuân, les restaurants et les bars. Le personnel est super. Chambre propre et confortable, bien au calme pour se reposer après les journées dans l'agitation de Hanoï. je le recommande sans hésiter !

Disappointing stay with Dirty room and bad service

we also got the wrong room.

bad service - refund 10% and then asked to get 10/10 points on booking.com - very dissapointing

Cons:

Rooms feel heavily used and have not been clean. Dirty sink, dirty shower and the toilet flush sometimes got stuck so the tank didn’t refill. Shower door couldn’t close due to curtain railing so only have of the shower space was usable.

Comfortable Stay in the Heart of Hanoi
Pros:

It was our first experience in Vietnam, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially when it came to finding our way around Hanoi. The room was a little small but functional and had everything we needed. The location was excellent for exploring the Old Quarter.

Great staff and location, but the hotel could really use some renovation.
Pros:

The location is great, especially for the price. The biggest highlight was definitely the staff! Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. They really deserve 10/10!

Cons:

The hotel is quite dated, and the rooms look more worn than in the photos. Some things were falling apart, and we had water leaking from the toilet in our bathroom. The AC was old and very noisy, and the internal window meant the room wasn’t completely dark or quiet.

Breakfast was also disappointing, with very limited choices and several items left empty without being refilled. I’m not sure it’s worth paying extra for.
