Excellent throughout! Beautiful hotel & gardens, attentive staff, great food and location.
Pros:

Hotel and gardens excellent, especially the beautiful courtyard garden. Room an equally high standard, beautifully decorated and spotless. All the staff were exceptional too, very helpful, attentive, and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Cons:

While all the food served was delicious, the evening meal menu didn't match the choice or value of the generous breakfast which had a wide range of options, any of which any could be requested. The evening meal portion sizes were small, and it worked out expensive by the time additional sides (that you would expect included) had to be purchased separately. The beef in particular was £35 for two mouthfuls of meat and not much else on the plate. Although complimentary bread and small tasters were provided, a few vegetables would have made all the difference without having to pay upwards of £45 to make up the shortfall. This is only a minor criticism though, the food itself was excellent - just not enough of it.

Pros:

We loved the whole vibe of Tudor Farmhouse, from the garden seating area with all the beautiful plants to the interior design. The staff were helpful and polite and incredibly welcoming

Cons:

The iron. Without the function to fill it with water it was just a hot sticky plate that burnt our clothes

A very enjoyable relaxing stay in a beautiful country farmhouse
Pros:

Location, gardens, food,

Cons:

Tv doesn’t work very well. It took a loooong time to get it to work. Also the coffee machine is over complicated. There are no instructions how to use it . It appears that guests who stayed before us also struggled as full coffee pods were found in the machine which we didn’t manage to get to work. Short instructions would be good or instant coffee to chose from. Otherwise all perfect

Absolutely fantastic place to stay
Pros:

Everything was absolutely exceptional, room, welcoming and one of the greatest breakfast I ever had in my life, quality-wise! All the ingredients were tasty and super fresh! +++

Cons:

Maybe coffee quality can be improved. Nespresso machines provided in all rooms are perfect, but the one served in the restaurant/lobby was at not the same level of the rest of the experience. It’s just a small detail that doesn’t affect the quality pf the whole experience
