The bed was comfortable and it was clean.
The rooms are very small, the bathroom toilet was crooked…to go along with the small room, out of the 3 rooms that I booked…one was very hot and it took a while to cool it down, my bed linen smelled like feces, the floor had water on it, in the room that was hot. It was only for one night. I could not have stayed there for more than one night.

In the description it stated it was walking distance from the beach which is not. The beach is across the highway and you still have to drive and park to get to it.
Home2 Suites on Hilton Head Island turned out to be a great place to stay on our Memorial Day weekend trip this year. The rooms are fantastic -- spacious, modern, and thoughtfully laid out with a comfortable bed, a nice sitting area with a pull-out sofa, and a surprisingly great kitchenette that makes longer stays especially convenient. The bathrooms could be a bit larger, but they still feel clean and modern, so it's a minor trade‑off.
The staff was pleasant and welcoming, creating an easy, relaxed atmosphere from check‑in onward. The pool is on the smaller side, but not so small that it feels unusable -- just something to be aware of if you're expecting a resort‑style setup.
One important heads‑up: the hotel is not within walking distance of the beach. It's an easy drive to pretty much anywhere on the island, but if you're looking for a place where you can stroll straight to the sand, this isn't it.
Overall, Home2 Suites offers comfort, convenience, and friendly service -- a strong five‑star stay.

The mattresses on both beds were odd. You had to go to the center of the bed or you felt like you were gonna fall out.
We were in between selling a house and buying a new one and stayed at Hilton Home 2 Suites for seven weeks.
The staff were wonderful to a person and greeted us with a smile every day we returned to include a greeting for our dog.
Having breakfast available in the morning made living in a hotel, much easier, and it was very good!
Management was receptive to our needs, and we especially appreciated of the front desk, people, Kierra and Michelle.
We would happily return to Home 2 suites again!

Located on Hwy 278, it is right by one of the free trolly stops. Felt there was ample parking. The first room we were put in, had issues with wet bathroom walls, peeling paint and looked like the drywall tape had buckled. The room temperature was 60 with the A/C blasting. When we called the front desk and maintenance person seemed to be annoyed that we questioned the maintenance and the request for another room.
The 2nd room was better. Room was pretty quiet. Overall cleanliness was pretty good. They do allow pets so if you are allergic, you may want to inquire ahead of time. Outdoor pool seemed to be well kept. Front desk staff seemed to spend a lot of time glued to their phones or talking to their co-workers.
Include breakfast is just ok as it seems that Hilton is cutting back. Waffles and breakfast sandwiches appear to be the only thing really of substances available.
Breakfast was ok. Poor coffee offering. Very limited fruit.
Due to an internal issue between Booking.com and Hilton , we were not able to be checked in. The front desk were not very friendly and basically said it’s up to you to resolve it with Booking .com. I felt they could have taken credit card details and allowed us to check in while it was resolved. Instead they left us to stand in the lobby on the phone for an hour. Not friendly.

Everything! It was clean, spacious, extremely friendly and helpful staff, great location, delicious free breakfast and overall a wonderful stay! Best staff ever!!

Price was a bit high, but I know that's partially due to the location. Did have 1 staff member who was kind of aggressive with how she asked questions. I asked for towels and instead of asking which kind, she just stared at me and used a hand motion acting as though I could read her mind.
I actually like the hotel itself. The room was very nice, and the staff was pretty good. Also, the breakfast was better than the average hotel breakfast.
My family and I were not able to rest well due to other guests allowing their children to rip and run all night.....literally. We heard bumping and running above our room all through the wee hours of the night. I understand that children are going to bump around, but allowing them to do so in the middle of the night, knowing that people are in rooms below you is simply unacceptable. It got so bad, I was forced to lie in bed with my headphones on, playing soft music to try to drown out the noise. I told the front desk about it, and the worker called the room above us and asked them to please keep their children calm at nigjt because we were not able to rest. Unfortunately that call did not work because the next night (our last night there) was much of the same. We decided that although we liked the hotel, the next time we're in Hilton Head it may be better for us to rent an air bnb.
