Very nice atmosphere, beautiful interior and friendly staff. We’ve visited Yao rooftop bar at Saturday evening and there were great view, excellent drinks and nice music. Very good atmosphere, really worth visiting. Special thanks to Zing from the hotel stuff for meeting us, helping and providing good service.

Its a very nice experience and moment to stay at this hotel. The hospitality, facilities, vibes its all amazing! Early morning when Im about to check out, I’ve met one of the staff name Fahsai. She did say something but I am not really catched what she trying to say, but we both laugh. She also give some present(key chain). What a good day to start! Thank you for the hospitality and warm welcome. This is my second time in Bangkok and hoping to have another opportunity to stay again with Marriot. Keep up the good services and to Fahsai, glad to meet you this morning. I will miss Bangkok dearly. Salam from Malaysia!

De shuttle service brengt de gasten wel naar het dichtbij zijnde railway station, maar haalt je niet meer op. Het is een one-way systeem.

I was genuinely looking forward to staying at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse in May, as it is a beautiful property and had been highly recommended for my birthday.
I have been a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member for over 3 years and originally booked this stay while still holding that status. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, my membership tier was downgraded to Gold shortly before the trip.
Given the occasion, I reached out to the hotel in advance to kindly ask if they could make a one-time exception and extend Executive Lounge access. I was not asking for anything beyond that, just a small gesture for a short stay and a special celebration. Instead of any form of flexibility or acknowledgment of my loyalty, I was offered upsell options at a “discounted” rate.
While I understand policies are in place and benefits are tied to status, the response felt quite transactional and disappointing. There was no attempt to recognise the context of my long-term loyalty or the occasion of my visit.
Beautiful property to stay at as platinum or above, but not a lot of flexibility or acknowledgment for gold members…
This was the best service experience among all the hotels I stayed at during my trip to Thailand. From the check-in process, room upgrade, to the luggage assistance, everything was handled professionally and warmly.
I would especially like to thank Zing and his teammates for the excellent luggage service when we checked out at night. Their kindness and helpful attitude really left a deep impression on us.
If I visit Thailand again in the future, I will definitely choose the Surawong Marriott again. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay. The staff are quick to help. They are friendly and professional. The pool has a great view with helpful staff. The food at the restaurants is top notch and varied with very helpful servers. Breakfast is a must!! The real highlight is the rooftop bar/restaurant. Great view of Bangkok at night with outstanding drinks and food. The rooms are high end Marriott rooms and very comfortable. Overall, we loved our stay and will return.
Very nice hotel. Great facilities including, infinity pool, gym, steam room, spa, dining. Great welcoming staff. Bell boys are very helpful. Especially Zing and his team. Only thing missing was a Sauna and USB/Type C sockets in the rooms which do have UK 3 pins sockets though so bring your plug. I would stay here again! Kap Kun Krap 🙏🏼

I also spent some time at the Lobby Lounge, where Khun Fahsai took excellent care of me. Her attentiveness and friendly service made it the perfect spot to unwind between meetings.

My first impression entering the hotel was impressive so was a great start to my 7 days stay. The b/fast was excellent with lots of options and the coffee was on point, and having a restaurant at the pool was very convenient. I used the gym a few time which was very well equipped. All staff were outstanding in their presentation and service they provide with the exception of one minor issue, see below.
I could not work the phone in my room so had to go down to reception and ask them to send someone up to sort out. I had to go down the next day and remind them then had to go down the next day again!! So I waited at reception and someone came up and sorted it out. Was a bit inconvenient. I used the laundry service which was rather expensive.
