Great value hotel with English speaking receptionist which made me feel at home in a town which clearly really doesn't see many Western travellers. Handy to cross the border into China the following day.

Cons:

I found it a little difficult to find a reasonably priced restaurant nearby after checking in. There's definitely not the abundance of cheap and quality Vietnamese restaurants around here as you'd maybe be used to from travelling in the rest of the country.

close to chinese border if you're crossing. if u need to wash ur clothes but missed the time to, i highly recommend checking out the c-mart next door because they offer laundry services for 50,000VND

Cons:

my friend and i (two girls) were awoken by an older man who checked into our dorm at like 2am. we were the only ones in the dorm until he showed up. he proceeded to snore really loud throughout the whole night and we felt pretty unsafe 😬 no hot water for the showers btw

Pros:

Gutes Business-Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage am Flussufer! Trotz der zentralen Lage hatte ich ein ruhiges, mittelgrosses Zimmer im 6. Stock (Aufzug). Es war sauber und gut eingerichtet mit Bad, AC, WiFi und Minibar. Durch die zentrale Lage ist alles in der Stadt gut erreichbar. Das einzig Störende war am ersten Abend ein Geruch nach Zigarettenrauch, der wohl aus dem Nachbarzimmer über die Belüftung ins Bad gelangte.

Nice stop if you're heading to/from China

Everything was great, I absolutely loved my stay! The staff were super helpful and went above and beyond to help me. Especially the female receptionist :)
