Great hotel for a city break to Budapest.
Pros:

Fantastic location to visit all the sites of Budapest. Amazing views from hotel room - Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, River Danube, Citadel, St Stephen’s Basilica. Staff polite and helpful. Room clean and well stocked with everything you need and replenished daily. Lovely breakfast.

A fürdőszobában a kádban nem maradt meg a víz,állandóan le engedett pedig direkt ilyen szobát akartunk de ezen felül minden rendbe volt!

Csalódást keltő tájékoztatás – végül visszakaptuk a pénzünket
Cons:

Sajnos nagyon kellemetlen tapasztalatunk volt a Hotel Clarkkal, ezért részemről 1/10 az értékelés.

A szállodát elsősorban a Leo Rooftop tetőterasz és az onnan nyíló panoráma miatt választottuk, ez számunkra fontos része lett volna az ott-tartózkodásnak. A foglalás után telefonon szerettem volna asztalt foglalni a tetőteraszra, és csak ekkor közölték velem, hogy az ott-tartózkodásunk idején zártkörű rendezvény lesz, ezért a tetőterasz csak körülbelül 14:30-ig használható.

Erről a foglalás előtt semmilyen előzetes tájékoztatást nem kaptunk, pedig ha ezt tudjuk, eleve nem ezt a szállodát választjuk.

A szálloda részéről elhangzott az is, hogy a hotel és a Leo Rooftop két külön cég/üzemeltetés. Vendégként ezt nehéz elfogadható indoknak tekinteni, hiszen a Hotel Clark a tetőteraszt és az ottani élményt maga is hangsúlyosan használja a szálloda bemutatásakor és reklámozásakor. Ha egy szolgáltatás ennyire szorosan kapcsolódik a hotel kommunikációjához, szerintem joggal számíthat arra a vendég, hogy előre tájékoztatják, ha az a tartózkodása alatt zártkörű rendezvény miatt nem lesz elérhető.

Amikor a telefonbeszélgetés során ezt megtudtam, azonnal jeleztem, hogy emiatt szeretném díjmentesen lemondani a foglalást. Először azonban azt a választ kaptam, hogy erre nincs lehetőség, mivel nem visszatérítendő foglalást választottunk. Ezt különösen méltánytalannak éreztem, hiszen nem mi gondoltuk meg magunkat, hanem egy számunkra lényeges szolgáltatás elérhetetlenségéről csak a foglalás után szereztünk tudomást.

Ráadásul Dunaújvárosból feleslegesen utaztunk fel Budapestre, mire az egész helyzet tisztázódott, és mire a lemondással, illetve a visszatérítéssel kapcsolatos ügyintézést sikerült lezárni. Ha megfelelő tájékoztatást kapunk előre, ezt az utazást és az egész kellemetlen procedúrát megspórolhattuk volna.
