Paradise amidst traffic mayhem
Pros:

It was a beautiful lush sanctuary away from the traffic madness of ubud.
Once inside the gates it was instantly serene and the ornate gardens and the pool were sublime. The room was clean and the staff were helpful . It is a very beautiful setting once your inside.

Cons:

The traffic outside was mental so not great to walk once your outside the hotel complex. It was a fairly non touristy part compared to further South were the traffic is also Intense so I suspect there's no escaping it in ubud wherever you go.
Also there was a pidgeon kept in a small cage inside the grounds of the hotel which seemed like an awful life for the poor bird.

Motorbike rent for a good price, nice staff

We booked a room without a bathtub, but upon arrival, we were initially given a room with one. We immediately asked for a change because the bathroom in that first room was in terrible condition: the sink was clogged, and the toilet failed to flush even after three attempts.
Although the staff was helpful and eventually agreed to move us, the second room was unfortunately even worse. While the bedroom itself was acceptable—despite some mold on the ceiling and peeling plaster, which we were willing to overlook—the bathroom felt like it belonged in a prison. There was mold everywhere, and it was so unhygienic that we didn’t dare to enter without wearing shoes.
On a positive note, the hotel staff was very friendly, and being able to rent bikes at a good price made the location manageable. However, please be aware that unless you are comfortable riding a motorbike in Bali, the location is quite inconvenient.
As for the hotel restaurant, the included breakfast was very limited (only one option available for me). The rest of the menu was also extremely restricted, offering only three types of pizza and nothing else.
Ultimately, we had paid for three nights but chose to leave after only two. We cannot recommend staying here.

It was overall a very pleasant stay.

Good Location. Very pleasant place to stay. Room facilities good

Cons:

Intially we were given a room where toilet fulsh was not working. We insisted and they changed the room. The staff who initially got us into the first room and then gave us our new room was a little too smart. Not guest friendly.
