This was the very first hotel I booked 5 years ago, and there has been 5 to 6 others since. I believe Sabara is my #1 choice now as they have kept the cleanliness and quality up 5 years later. And reasonably price. Staff is friendly and helpful. 5 stars.

The food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced, and the gorgeous saltwater pool was the perfect place to relax with an amazing cocktail in hand. The rooms were spacious, beautifully presented and featured an absolutely stunning bathroom.
The location was ideal, tuk tuks always on hand and happy to take you into town whenever needed.
We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The friendliness of the staff.
The only issue we had was the air conditioning was directly over the bed and didn't seem to cut off when it was at the right temperature. It just kept blowing directly on us even if we tried to redirect the vents.

The hotel is a little dated so if you want something modern this place is not for you. That being said the hotel has all ammenities you could want or need. A tuk-tuk ride to Pub Street/markets is very quick and cheap and the staff are very happy to help organise this.
We had a holiday that travelled all through Vietnam and Cambodia and we ended our trip here. The lady at the spa gave my husband the foot massage he had been failing to find anywhere else and the facial and neck massage she gave me was heaven!
I was feeling unwell toward the end of our trip so did not want to go to the restaurant in the morning. The staff enquired about me when my husband was there alone and delivered breakfast to my room so I could rest.
We had such a lovely stay here, the people were so friendly and made such an effort to make everything just right for our stay.
The restaurant staff, Ms oeurm lyta Mr ratana were very attentive to us and we're excellent in there job of making sure our requests were seen to.
The hotel was very clean and welcoming and the salt water pool was just what we needed after tripping about in the heat.
The value was extremely good as it is a luxurious hotel with an affordable price.

We chose this hotel because it was near to our son who is living in Siem Reap at the moment. The room with outside space made it easy for us all to meet up. My husband also loved to sit on a night with a drink reading his book before we went out to eat. It is further out than the main strip but is easy to get tuc tucs to anywhere in siem reap.
All the staff where always extra helpful and I had a really good foot massage done by Kimleat. Much better than as n the normal foot massages easily available everywhere else.
We had a large room with a seating area which was nice but the air con was positioned over this area and you couldn’t always feel it in the bedroom area.
Sabara Angkor Resort and Spa is a beautiful place to stay for families. We visited in May 2026 the staff were so attentive and accomodating, the facilities are very clean, the rooms are spacious. The pool/ bar and shared areas are well kept and lush. We would definitely like to come back.Ms Lyta, Chinda Yinh and Ratana were amazing, aswell as the front desk staff. The staff were always helpful with recommendations. Thank you very much

The room is big and comfortable. Private pool was amazing. Quiet location and staffs are very friendly. Town is a bit far from hotel but Tuk tuk was always available outside hotel and reasonable priced. Had an amazing stay there.
I guess the insect because the bathroom is outside. But if you like nature, it comes with some disadvantages but the hotel staff is very fast in providing cleaning services.
