AMAZING!
Pros:

- Really beautiful hotel, also the hotels (connected to this one) are stunning! The constructed area in front of the hotels is amazing with stunning views! Also the pools are AMAZING!
- The breakfast (OMG so good!!). We had a super friendly waiter (Gladys). She was there to serve us with whatever we requested. Always smiling and working really hard!
- We had dinner (a BBQ) in the hotel as well. Once again, soooo good!!! Also Gladys was there to waiter our every need! She made our stay unforgettable.
- Super friendly people at the reception, the beach lifeguards and at the valet. It was an incredible stay.

Enttäuschendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Vergleich zu Kempinski

Das Abendessen und der Service dort war sehr zufriedenstellend. Sehr gutes Essen.

Cons:

Im Vergleich zum Kempinski Hotel am Toten Meer, das sich in einer ähnlichen Preisklasse befindet, war unser Aufenthalt leider eher enttäuschend. Gerade bei einem Hotel dieses Preisniveaus erwarte ich einen entsprechend hohen Standard und einen aufmerksamen Service.

Bereits im Badezimmer gab es einen deutlichen Mangel: Das Wasser der Dusche lief sowohl in Richtung WC als auch außerhalb des Duschbereichs. Das ist für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie aus meiner Sicht nicht akzeptabel.

Auch der Service beim Frühstück entsprach leider nicht meinen Erwartungen. Kaffee wurde sehr langsam und teilweise überhaupt nicht serviert. Erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen wurde dieser gebracht. Ähnlich enttäuschend war die Ausstattung der Minibar, die insbesondere bei den Getränken sehr schlecht bestückt war.

Besonders unglücklich empfand ich den Umgang mit unserer Anfrage bezüglich eines Late Check-outs bis 13 Uhr – also lediglich eine Stunde länger. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass dies aufgrund der vollständigen Auslastung des Hotels leider nicht möglich sei. Das ist selbstverständlich verständlich und für mich grundsätzlich überhaupt kein Problem. Was ich allerdings vermisst habe, war eine kundenorientierte Alternative. Beispielsweise hätte man anbieten können, das Gepäck noch im Hotel aufzubewahren und die Einrichtungen des Hotels für diese eine zusätzliche Stunde weiterhin nutzen zu dürfen.

Zudem musste ich zweimal nachfragen, ob ein Late Check-out tatsächlich möglich sei. Bei einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse würde ich erwarten, dass bei einer nicht möglichen Verlängerung zumindest proaktiv eine Alternative angeboten wird.

Insgesamt hatte ich daher den Eindruck, dass Service und Detailaufmerksamkeit nicht dem Preisniveau des Hotels entsprochen haben.
