The Blue Ivy Hotel and Suites

Where do I start what a brilliant hotel and centrally located without the noise. The rooms were cleaned and fresh towels supplied daily. The staff from the manager down are absolutely amazing they always walking around with smiles on there faces as nothing was to much trouble they look happy to work there. We went AI the food and selection of drinks were 1st class something for everybody. The hotel was so clean and tidy the staff were around all day making sure. Would definitely return and recommended to family and friends.

Wow, the moment you enter the hotel you know, a welcome drink at reception and a friendly face greeting you. Rooms are spotless and the food, well the food is out of this world, we only went B&B but paid for several lunches, absolutely faultless. The little touches like cookies left in your room on an evening with a card, staff from the ladies giving towels out to the manager are the best we've come across. Forgive me I'm useless with names but the managers right hand man gets a special mention because he's a Leeds fan so MOT to him, he'll know haha.
Nothing is too much trouble, you're all amazing so thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic holiday at the Blue Ivy Hotel , after staying here I do not want to stay in any other hotel in Protaras and would highly recommend
The hotel is immaculately clean , the rooms are bright and spacious with comfortable beds . We stayed bed and breakfast however had several meals over lunch time that did not disappoint , great location between the beach and the Main Street and two lovely pool areas
The main feature however is the staff who are so welcoming and will go out of their way to help , from the cleaners , the bar staff/waiters , the reception staff to the manager who was always around to say hello and check how your stay is going , I will certainly be returning

The most amazing time at Blue Ivy. Everything from the food to the staff was just outstanding. Special mention to George the lifeguard, the restaurant manager and all the restaurant staff who went above and beyond for us. For the comments in relation to sun loungers, we had no problem in 10 days getting 5 loungers for us all. Thank you blue ivy for a fab 10 days, we will see you next year!

Fantastic hotel, it was perfect and in a great location, a short stroll to the beach and 5 mins walk from the strip.

The Blue Ivy is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We have just returned from a 2 week stay and already booked for our 3 rd stay. The hotel has absolutely ticked every box . From start to finish we have been welcomed by all staff with Courtesy ,friendliness hospitality by all the staff there . A special thank you to Nilkos our no1 man who manages this hotel with a deep passion to make his guests happy . The pool bar staff especially Carolina and Zoe with their welcoming smile and service. The restaurant staff who tended to us with professionalism every day. All the staff work so hard . Our room was beautiful we were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely suprise on arrival the housekeeping team were all absolutely fantastic our room was cleaned every day and clean towels and linen were freely replaced. I am sure there are other staff/ areas to mention but will say that all were 💯% spot on. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Blue Ivy Hotel and couldn’t have been happier with our experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is beautiful, the location is very central, the rooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with excellent soundproofing and every area is exceptionally well maintained. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and consistently high quality.

What truly makes this hotel stand out, however, is its amazing staff. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. Their warm welcome made us feel at home from day one.

A special mention to George (lifeguard/bartender), who went above and beyond to make our stay even more memorable. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for the guests truly stood out. Team members like George are a real credit to Blue Ivy Hotel.

The greatest compliment we can give is that our son didn’t want to leave. He was in tears when it was time to go because he said he wanted to stay in his new “home.” That says everything about how happy and comfortable we felt during our holiday.

We created wonderful family memories and are already looking forward to returning for a longer stay. If you’re looking for a hotel with excellent facilities, fantastic food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Blue Ivy Hotel is the perfect choice.

Very good but some issues that some people might find annoying.
Pros - we stayed all inclusive and the food is by far the best I have ever had on an all inclusive. In addition to this the drinks are branded and to the highest standard (not watered down), beers are bottled and mixers come in cans.
The hotel is very clean.
All staff are very friendly and very hard working.
Location is great (but also features in my cons) two minute walk to beach and one minute to the strip.
Cons - sun bed wars. Very bad on my first week but not so bad on the second week. The pool area is closed off until 8am and then you have to make a mad rush to secure a bed on a certain side of the pool. It didn’t make sense to me because there are plenty of beds available but some types of people love to do the sun bed wars. They have a waiter that sort of controls the waiting crowd but annoyingly he encourages the chaos by doing a live countdown ( 2 minutes to go and then counting down from 10 seconds).
2nd con is the pool is very small
3rd con is the location. The location is great for access to everything but it’s right by a road and you have the constant noise from buggies, motorbikes, boy racers, coaches etc. what makes it worse is that everyone in Cyprus seems to have the biggest and loudest exhaust pipes ever.
4th Con is that they have an artist playing music at lunch time. This should be nice but they have the volume far too loud which makes it annoying instead of pleasant (maybe this is done on purpose to drown out the road noises).
To conclude the pros out weigh the cons and I would consider staying here again. If the cons I’ve listed don’t bother you then you will have the best time here.

We have just returned from a 12 night stay at this hotel. We chose it for all the good reviews and wasn't disappointed. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful . The food was absolutely amazing different themes every night. I would recommend choosing the all inclusive option it is the best AI package I have ever had you could have any drink from the bar including cocktails premium spirits Irish coffee's etc. The pool is nice with comfortable loungers. The only two negatives I could mention which were no fault of the hotel's were the idiots racing to get the loungers and the road noise but don't let this put you off give this amazing hotel a try

Absolutely amazing hotel the staff are fabulous from the front desk to the to the waiters at the restaurant the location I cannot thank you enough and believe me we are not easily impressed we live in rhodes Greece where most of our family are in the tourist business but this has to be one of the best hotels we've stayed in because the hotel is not just the building it's a people who run it thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at this splendid hotel our second visit. From the moment we arrived and welcomed by David who clearly explained everything. We were surprised but eternally grateful for the upgrade to a superior room which had a tremendous view overlooking the pool and the Mediterranean.
The hotel is splendidly managed by Nikos who is always available and takes time to interact with guests.
As all of the staff work incredibly hard from house keeping staff, cleaning teams, to bar and waiting staff, it is hard to nominate individuals but a big shout out to David for the reception on arrival and maurino the restaurant restaurant who always gave a friendly welcome and ensured all guests were happy.
We stayed half board plus and the meals at both breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard with chefs available to answer any questions and recommend dishes.
The beds round the pool area are very comfortable, with the only slight issue being the 8 o clock dash for beds (not sure how this can be resolved as I’m sure that if there was no time restriction then some guests would be putting towels out at 5am) that said we managed to get beds without any problem. However the number of beds with towels on but not used for a number of hours each day needs addressing.
We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a luxurious time in a spotless and well run hotel. We are already planning our next visit for June 2027 and look forward to seeing you all then.

Just back from our 3rd stay at blue ivy and I would never stay anywhere else! Beautiful room as always, cleaned every day. The cleaning team work so hard, everywhere is immaculate. We even used the gym a few times this year, plenty of equipment if you feel like a workout. The pool area is lovely, we love the beds with the curtains, aqua aerobics for anyone wanting to join or just relax to the musicians who play at the pool on different days. Never a problem getting a sun bed. Food at the restaurant is amazing, every night a different theme, never had a bad meal, always lots of choice and the restaurant manager maurino is so welcoming to everyone. Special mention to David on reception who goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is amazing, he organised some lovely flowers for our anniversary. Trips,taxis or local information David is the man. And lastly nicos the amazing manager without him it wouldn’t be blue ivy! I’ve never been to a hotel that the manager welcomes everyone, he’s constantly around the restaurant and reception making sure everyone has the best time. We have already booked for next year. We have made so many lovely friends who we see every year that it’s become a tradition to meet up now 💜

We live in Cyprus, friends from the UK were staying at Blue Ivy. It was our 40th Wedding Anniversary, we were planning to meet them and eat out to celebrate. When we arrived at the hotel we received a fantastic welcome, from the management and bar teams, such that we decided to eat in from the buffet, and not go out into Protaras.
"What a great decision"......the restaurant and chef teams were so helpful, and the choice and quality of food exceptional, and so flavoursome.
In fact it was so good we ate there a second night.
We will certainly recommend the Blue Ivy.

This is our last day on what has been another perfect holiday at the blue ivy. This is our 4th time returning since we first came in 2023 and the hotels standards are exactly the same each year, immaculate rooms and lovely decor. The pool area is the same too with great sun beds and a relaxed atmosphere. We stay bed and breakfast and the breakfast in the morning is great, fresh food with plenty of variety, we have also eaten in the hotel at night a couple of times during our stay and the food is all very good. It’s just a personal choice that we like to go for a walk in the evening to go to restaurants otherwise we’d be more than happy to eat at the hotel every night. Each year we come back we see so many familiar faces which is always a good example of how much people like this hotel, some of which we have become friends with whilst here. The thing that sets this hotel apart from the rest is the manager and staff, Nikos is a gentleman and makes sure everyone is having a great stay and is always present at the hotel, the staff are brilliant and they all add a real personal touch to your stay from the moment you walk in to reception you’re made to feel at home. We have already booked our stay for next year and look forward to returning already. Thanks again to everybody at the blue ivy and we will see you next year 😊

Our first time here and definitely coming back next year. Made welcome as soon as we walked through the doors… the staff were all lovely polite and do anything for you , food WOW !! We have just returned from an amazing stay at the Blue Ivy Hotel in Protaras, and it exceeded all of our expectations.

The standout feature of our holiday was undoubtedly the incredible restaurant and bar staff. Every single member of the team greeted us with genuine warmth, a smile, and exceptional professionalism. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they worked tirelessly from morning until night to ensure every guest had a wonderful experience. The service was attentive, friendly, and personal, making us feel truly valued throughout our stay.

The food was absolutely outstanding. There was an excellent variety at every meal, with beautifully presented dishes that were always fresh, delicious, and of an exceptionally high standard. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was something to suit every taste, and we looked forward to every meal. The bar staff also deserve special praise for their fantastic cocktails, excellent drinks service, and welcoming atmosphere, which made every evening a pleasure.

Another thing that really impressed us was the cleanliness of the hotel. Everywhere was immaculate – from our room to the restaurants, bar areas, pool, and all the communal spaces. The housekeeping and cleaning teams clearly take enormous pride in their work, and the hotel is maintained to an exceptionally high standard. It is one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in.

We recently stayed at the Blue Ivy Hotel in Protaras, and it exceeded all expectations. In the restaurant, Dimpal, Amir, Emylia, Andreas, Panikos, Filios, Marinos, Raman and Executive Chef, Mr. Kiriakos and Mr. Nikos made our experience unique and unforgettable. We would like to mention that all staff were wonderful and we do appreciate all their dedication and commitment. Every need, whether big or small, was met with a can-do attitude that made my stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. The level of care and professionalism from the entire team left a lasting impression. Cleanliness was impeccable across the hotel, from the rooms to the public areas. The pool was spotless daily, with enjoyable entertainment, thoughtful extras like refreshing towels, and complimentary drinks from the pool bar.
The variety of dishes available not only catered to all tastes but also showcased the best of local and international cuisines.
Our superior room was spacious, peaceful, and perfectly maintained, with lovely daily touches from housekeeping. The hotel’s location is stunning, with beautiful views and complimentary sun loungers adding to the relaxing atmosphere.

One of the best hotels i have stayed in regarding food , accommodation, and general cleanliness.
Great location and the management team and staff could not do enough for you.
The little touches like giving you cold towels and free cold drinks around the pool, and biscuits every night makes you enjoy even more.
The only issue was the mad dash to get sunbeds at 8am every morning, the management team need to look at this, to try and solve the issue, the policy does say that they will remove towels if no-one has been at pool for an hour but this was not enforced.
I would return but possibly not in peak seasons.
