Great place for a short stay- staff were all friendly and helpful. Super location with plenty of parking.

Cons:

Pillows weren’t very comfortable for me. Lighting in the rooms wasn’t great due to the dark decor.

Hmmmmm….tired and expensive. Requests unheeded and unfulfilled.

Cons:

Requests for help for an 85 year old guest I was booking for. Those requests were neither acknowledged or addressed. Room really dimly lit, decor tired. Needs refurbishing. Too expensive for what was provided.

The hotel itself was fine

Cons:

The restaurant was filthy. Tables left with scraps of food on them, food on the floor not cleaned up despite several guests asking them to. Awful.

Convenient and wonderful value for money
Pros:

A perfect place to stay while waiting two nights for my flight at Manchester airport. The beer garden is fantastic and the breakfast outstanding. A truly enjoyable experience!

Great place to stay in south Manchester
Pros:

Easy access from the motorway network yet side road was fairly quiet. Although technically a pub, it's actually much more - the "boutique hotel" part of the description. Lots of parking. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Outdoor area where can eat. Room was excellent. Tea. Biscuits. Mineral water. Two excellent pillows (great for me a neck problem). Even provided a fan for the hot weather. Restaurant food quite good. Big choice. Reasonable choice for breakfast.

Cons:

Perhaps I am easily pleased but I couldn't really point at anything that was a significant shortcoming. I would be happy to stay there again.

We were really glad this was where we stayed for the last night of our holiday before heading home to the US!
