Easy access from the motorway network yet side road was fairly quiet. Although technically a pub, it's actually much more - the "boutique hotel" part of the description. Lots of parking. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Outdoor area where can eat. Room was excellent. Tea. Biscuits. Mineral water. Two excellent pillows (great for me a neck problem). Even provided a fan for the hot weather. Restaurant food quite good. Big choice. Reasonable choice for breakfast.
Perhaps I am easily pleased but I couldn't really point at anything that was a significant shortcoming. I would be happy to stay there again.
A perfect place to stay while waiting two nights for my flight at Manchester airport. The beer garden is fantastic and the breakfast outstanding. A truly enjoyable experience!

I was dissatisfied with the quality of the bed and the malfunctioning toilet flush. The pricing was exorbitantly high. Fortunately, I secured my room through Booking.com; however, when attempting to make a reservation via telephone, I was quoted a rate of £400 per night. Perhaps this was influenced by my accent. Overall, the accommodation was not worthwhile, and unless the location had been conveniently close, I would not have chosen to stay there.
Just had an overnight stay here, on route to our holiday. Left the car here for a week in the secure car park. 2nd time we have done this from Manchester airport. The staff booked our taxi for us as we we leaving at 2.30am and everything went perfect. Had a meal in the snug at teatime and a few drinks in the bar. Was really lovely food. We even stayed for our tea when we came to collect the car as it was so nice! The staff even recognised us and asked if we'd enjoyed our holiday! Lovely place to stay
