Lovely few days in Troon
Pros:

Very professional service, room was clean, but could do with being refurbished.
Food was lovely, staff very attentive. Would definitely return in the future.

Fantastic!
Pros:

My dog and I stayed for one night here at this super Hotel.
Service was great ,the food is divine ,our sea view room was cosy,clean and very comfortable.
South Beach Hotel has true Scottish charm and atmosphere.
The team looked after us brilliantly.
I will defenately return and highly recommend this gem of a place 😊🐾

A lovely Hotel run by lovely people .
Pros:

It is a well run traditional Troon hotel with super sea views and super staff .

The food is superb and cooked beautifully
Alll produce is sourced locally within a 12 mile radius of the hotel.

. Troon cod with scallops ,spiced sweet potatoe puree and asparagus .was cooked to perfection and the pudding was divine a custard tart so refreshing and subtle .

Breakfast was lush too.

Wine was excellent.

Very dog friendly! Great dog walking right opposite.

Comfortable and clean room with a heavenly sea view.
The bar area has a true Scottish vibe ,buzzing with conversation across generations of folk.

Absolute delight !
Willl defenately visit again.

Spacious, outside covered garden area, pleasant staff, exceptional breakfast

Cons:

Lunch menu limited if just a snack required. Would be good to have a sandwich selection.

A very clean and pleasant hotel with friendly staff
Pros:

breakfasts had a good choice of dishes and ones chosen were very satisfactory.
had a bar dinner one night and this had a surprisingly large choice of dishes and was also very satisfactory.
We were offered a room on the ground floor which had a separate but connected room with a third bed which was particularly useful for my son and I

Cons:

Plug on bathroom toilet broke and not repaired.

Unexpectedly good as it was a snap desistion, will be definitely back

Breakfast was very good and plenty off it also good choices,

Cons:

For us it was perfect, even as far as dealing with us after we had left, I thought I had left somthing unimportant to anyone but my self, it was almost a week after and I phoned to ask if by chance I had left it, the girl took my number and said she would look into it, half an hr later she had phoned me back after speaking to the housekeeper, I was impressed 😊( I eventually found the item under my nose) staff that go just that little bit extra and with a happy voice means a lot to guests.

Pleasant Stay.
Pros:

The location was perfect The hotel was very clean and welcoming The staff were very helpful and friendly would visit again 😀 Great choice of breakfast.

Cons:

The room was very hot with the warm weather we were given a small fan but not great could invest in better quality fans to keep room cool 😏

Cons:

Quite run down, room carpets are dirty, rooms very warm with winter style duvets still on the bed. In need of decorating. Beds old and creaky.

The room was clean, food nice but mouldy windows.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly. The guests were not loud. The food at the bar was nice, especially the day soup-delicious.
The breakfast was nice. They served is early coffee.

Cons:

The window were mouldy, looked like the frames was not cleaned for years. When you open the window the smell from mould got inside the room

Excellent staf, hotel just needs a little refresh
Pros:

Hotel is in a good location with plenty of parking, rooms are a good size and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Hotel is a little dated, doesn’t need much, a lick of paint and some modernisation would really lift the place. Cleaning could do with a bit of an overhaul too but bed and bathroom were clean

Ideal dog friendly hotel
Pros:

Excellent sea view and top of the range breakfast. We also had an evening meal which was very nice and great value. Very dog friendly as well

Shower water pressure somewhat feeble
