All good and handy
Breakfast was fantastic
Electric shower a bit weak and out dated, evening shower worked well but morning shower was poor probably down to more guests using it at same time,
We where made very welcome nothing was any trouble for all the staff and the room was very comfortable
The only thing was on the morning of leaving it was very busy we were put in the conservatory and I felt we were forgotten had to find a staff member to serve us

Huisseries défectueuses et salle de bains approximative
It's an old hotel that has just recently been bought out so I expect nothing is going to change until it closes and has a complete refurb. If you want to be transported into the 1970's world of Open Golf, drinks in a big wooden bar, old wooden banisters, then this is your place. It'd make a fabulous film set. It'll be sad to have Buzzworks the new owners change it out of all recognition. The South Beach is an institution, it has a fantastic location and the staff are delightful. The breakfast was actually better than a similar expensive one at Buzzworks Lido Cafe. At least the poached eggs were soft. However ... The beds were appalling.
The beds. Like sleeping on wooden benches.
Lovely breakfast & nice wee setting
Nothing
What a lovely hotel family run. Great staff and Murry was brilliant. Great food too and breakfast was the best we had all week. We will be back
Very friendly staff, food first class.I would stay there again with a lower room allocation .
The only draw back was that there was no lift due to the age of property.
The food was excellent
The position of the hotel is great
The decor is very old fashioned and needs updating
Location and dinner food.
Breakfast was not the best, the smallest home made potato scone l have ever seen in a Scottish hotel, and a bit disorganised. Beds were clean and comfortable but the furnishings and decor need more attention to detail. Seemed a bit understaffed.
Location, food and room.
Nothing!
The staff went out of their way to get us 2 rooms side by side as we were travelling with 2 kids.
Barbara and the owner of the hotel were very friendly. We would recomend staying there.
Clean and very well kitted out - lovely room
Having no lift - and at 79 and 75 the stairs were tough
Location,breakfast
Shower a bit tight
Excellent food and very helpful staff.
