In generale il prezzo mi è sembrato un po' alto per i servizi offerti, inoltre non avevamo la possibilità di manovrare in autonomia l'aria condizionata nelle camere (ci hanno detto per un aggiornamento della stessa) e avendo dei bambini è risultato essere un disagio anche se il personale è stato molto disponibile a manovrarla dalla reception a qualsiasi ora. qualche giochino in più per i bambini non sarebbe male

Location: A 20 minute walk into town, but a car would be better ideal. Italian towns aren't really built with walking or cyclists in mind and the heat was oppressive well into the late evening, making a 20 minute walk less a gentle pre-dinner walk and more a gruelling cardio session. Although there are free bikes, the effort and the unfriendly roads make this less than ideal. The electric scooters and bikes available across the rest of Europe, which might have assisted are absent. Taxi's are mysteriously very expensive from a UK point of view. Uber based ones are not any cheaper either and I suspect the lack of electric scooter hire options and the lucrative taxi market are not a co-incidence. That is not to knock the service provided by the taxi firms, which is responsive, personal and friendly and takes you back about 20 years, with taxis arranged by phone and message with real people and not apps.
Trains are ludicrously cheap - but the station is not walkable for a family from the town and will cost more to get there by taxi than you will pay in train fares to wherever you are going. Hotel therefore reasonably well located for the archaeological park without a car, although excellently with a car. The station is very close to the ruins, so given the low train costs and high taxi fares, anywhere in the local region and near a train station on the same line would have worked just as well if not better.

Air con in Italy in general, including this hotel, is a little less aggressive than UK/ American tastes I suspect - and controlled at reception, which is a pain. You will still find it cold and refreshing though - and given the humidity, they might bankrupt Italy if they collectively turn the air con settings down!

Poolausstattung grenzgradig gering, Whirlfunktion ca. 10min/Tag, keine Düsen, keine sonstigen Funktionen, nur ein Pool für alle Gäste. Poolbar mit Drinks/Cocktails mäßiger Qualität, verfaulte Minze in Mojito,
Frühstück: Katastrophe, in 8 Tagen keinerlei Abwechslung, keine Variationen (kein Prosciutto, keine Mortadella, keine Paprika, Zwiebeln, Gurken, Salate etc. Kuchen: häufig Langlieger>5 Tage, hart,, vergoren, Kaffeequalität mäßig, Snacks dürftig, billige Convenience-Ware, alle Extras werden teuer verkauft. Restaurant hochpreisig und laut Aussage anderer Gäste mäßiger Qualität, schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Kein Ambiente, keine Unterhaltung, keine Animation, kein Kinderprogramm, keine Abendmusik, insgesamt keinerlei Ambitionen, uns den hart verdienten Urlaub angenenehm zu machen. Völliges Desinteresse an der Gästebewertung.

L'hôtel est en train d'agrandir, de nouvelles chambres sont en construction/aménagement, au-dessus des chambres deja existantes. Nous avons été réveillés par des travaux, dans la chambre au-dessus de la nôtre, assez tôt le matin. L'hôtel s'est excusé et nous a dit ne pas savoir que les corps de métier seraient là. Cela ne s'est pas reproduit. Mais les travaux et aménagements ont continué dans des heures correctes.
Nous trouvions les prix des repas ainsi que des boissons un peu élevés. Les restaurants de la région sont bien en-dessous, au niveau du prix. Nous sortions donc manger dehors.
Le frigo dans le chambre fonctionne mais, il n'est pas des plus efficaces.
Nous avons rencontré quelques soucis avec l'air conditionné : la console de contrôle de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas toujours, il fallait donc aller le faire régler à l'accueil. Mais, à la fin du séjour, même depuis l'accueil de l'hôtel, l'air conditionné s'éteignait et s'allumait sans que nous puissions le contrôler. L'hôtel a mentionné un problème pour lequel ils attendaient un technicien, une fois que nous serions partis.

Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war überteuert und die Portionen recht klein. Es lohnt sich definitiv, stattdessen nach Agropoli zu fahren und dort zu essen. Ein weiterer Punkt, den man erwähnen muss – wofür das Hotel allerdings nichts kann – ist die Geruchsbelästigung: In der Umgebung gibt es viele Büffelfarmen für die Mozzarella-Produktion. Dadurch stank die Luft stellenweise so penetrant, dass es wirklich unausstehlich war.

Servizio ristorazione non professionale; a differenza dell' anno scorso e di due anni fa che era eccezionale, quest' anno è stato mediocre,con molti errori da parte di camerieri che erano mal organizzati dal responsabile di sala. Inoltre hanno innalzato di un piano tutte le strutture dove sono ubicare le camere, facendo perdere all'insieme tutta l' armonia e la bellezza
