Close to town Break was very good filled us up till tea time
At weekends pub across the road as window dosnt shut was noisy take ear plugs

The bed was brick hard and uncomfortable, the two pillows were as flat as pancakes and also hard

Good restaurant and the food is great.
The room as a whole. The outer window was jammed open and a plastic screen thing was placed over the inner wood. This did not stop any noise making the room noisy. The room was so light throughout the night the curtain rail was too far from the wall to block any street light out. The bathroom had black mould on the roof the shower was hot only no matter what you did it was just hot water. And finally the corridor doors constantly slam shut.
The location is very good an easy walk to the high street and the harbour.
The breakfast is very nice with a good choice. I had the vegetarian breakfast.
Maybe a pelmet at the top of the windows so light doesn’t get in early in the morning during lighter months ,or black out curtains.
Central location
Noisy room. Could hear a loud squealing noise from every time next door turned on their taps. Right across from police station and heard sirens all night

It was located where we needed to be and not far from central Montrose on foot.

Very tired decor. Took awhile for reception to acknowledge we were there in front of him but minor detail.
Delightful staff and ambience.
Room 25 was excellent in every respect apart from the window curtain. The window faced east and the window curtain was rather thin and ill fitting. By 4:30 am the morning sun was blazing in through that window and there was nothing I could do about it. There was no way I could get back to sleep. The window needs well fitted blackout curtains or a blind.
