Pros:

Nous avons séjournés durant quatre jours au sunrise lagoon en réservation de dernière minute et l'accueil à été formidable. Notre petit bungalow perché au dessus de la mer était juste incroyable avec des nuits bercés par le bruit des vagues 😍

Ill s'agit d'une chambre chez l'habitant avec peu de moyen donc il ne faut forcément pas s'attendre au grand luxe mais c'est justement ce qui fait tout le charme de ce bungalow. La chambre n'a pas d'électricité mais un lampe est mise à disposition, des prises sont également disponibles dans l'espace commun pour recharger les appareil, et un wifi est même disponible. Forcément l'eau de la douche est froide mais au vu des températures ce n'est pas dérangeant. Notre chambre était parfaitement propre ainsi que d'ailleurs tout les espaces communs. Les repas sont un peu répétitifs mais toujours très copieux et très bon, tout comme les petits déjeuner ! Nous avons même pu manger des poissons frais que j'avais pêcher le matin même !

L'emplacement est exceptionnel, à seulement 30min à pied avec un chemin traversant des paysages magnifiques. Les excursions était toutes superbes et très bien organiser par la famille.

Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésiter !

Enkelt boende precis vid havet. Det finns höns, getter, katter och grisar. Fina promenadstigar upp över berget. Blåste när vi var där så provade inte att snorkla precis utanför boendet. Finns snorkling i blå lagunen på andra sidan. Såg en stor havssköldpadda där. Tog en tur med båt med boendet och tittade på revhajar och vackert snorkelrev.

Cons:

Detta är ett bra boende för de som gillar katter. Katterna är i köket, på köksbänkarna, under matbordet, på den rena tvätten...

Not bad, not good.
Pros:

Having a private bathroom with running water in the family room. Also Wifi was fine. The rooms are not maintained very well, but are still fine given the price. Main advantage is that they are easy to reserve. Only beds in the room No closet or desk to store anything.

Cons:

It was very windy during our stay. Our room had broken windshutters in one window and no windshutters in the other window which made the room more airy than convenient.
The food was not as good as in other homestays. Portions were small for someone with a bit more appetite than average. Our last lunch was just bad and way too early at 10.30. There are no chairs to sit comfortably in the garden, there was too much wind anyway. It felt that the family did not put a lot of effort in making your stay comfortable, when comparing to other places we stayed.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. Location was perfect. Activities were well priced and reliable. The hosts were very hospitable and kind. Would absolutely recommend for those looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

Lovely property, nice island getaway
Pros:

Amazing location right on the beach. The island itself is beautiful too and remote / wild with lots of friendly dogs roaming around. Awesome views and nice reef around the whole island. Wifi was fast and good (they just got Starlink so have wifi now), we had the shared bathroom and it was fine. The family have goats & chickens, and we played volleyball with the kids which was fun! Ice cream around the corner (only eat the pineapple one) and Los Tea House just up the beach. The activities are fine. Shark snorkelling was really cool. Overall a nice stay.

Cons:

My only recommendation is the food portions - myself and my partner went hungry a couple of times and due to not being able to get food for ourselves anywhere, this was rough. One plate meals - more fruit would have been nice because there’s an abundance of fruit growing on the island. Probably bring snacks / your own food just in case. Also sometimes we felt like we were bothering the family by just asking questions about the island etc… they didn’t seem too keen to chat with us… but not sure haha

Pros:

Good food for the money. Working wifi usually till 9pm. Nice walk across the island to the Blue Lagoon. Go try the ice cream nextdoor. Really nice owner. Had different activities but only if there is at least 3 people participating.

Cons:

It is not like some other homestays, where you are part of the family. Hosts very distant, almost no interaction. Really really old beds.

I thought that it was good value for money. However it shouldn't be advertised as a homestay. It is set up more like a guest house or a inn and the family don't really want to interact with you.

Pros:

Good area. You can walk to the other side of the island, (blue lagoon) about 20min. They have a Tea House and Organic Icecream shop 3 min walk. Portions of food are big and the views by the ocean beautiful. We have a private room by the beach and you can see the ocean through your windows. You can book the cave trip and other activities for good price. Family is honest and helpful. We were invited to a lunch wedding, was really cool.

Cons:

If it’s windy or rainy the wind blows pretty strong and seems the other side of the island is better for swimming and snorkelling. Food could be a bit more varied but overall was good. Cold showers and no bathroom amenities.

Freundliche Familie, Sehr gute Lage direkt am blauen Strand, einige Aktivitäten zu gutem Preis, immer andere Gäste dort mit denen man was unternehmen konnte

Cons:

Einfaches und leckeres Essen, nur nach einer Woche wär etwas Abwechslung schön gewesen, für ein paar Tage aber kein Problem

We really loved our stay at sunrise lagoon and would choose to stay here again over any of the pricier resorts!
Pros:

We had an amazing stay at sunrise lagoon. We were greeted with a warm welcome from lice and the local dogs. It was so peaceful, the food was lovely, portions good, accomodation comfortable and wow stunning location! The chance to go on trips was great I recommend the caves and spear fishing. I enjoyed sitting together with the other guests to share meals and stories. You can also explore the island by walking over to blue lagoon for great snorkelling, a cocktail at the resort or nearby Los tea shop and the organic ice cream shop. Great sunrise from the nearby lookouts. It’s a trip I will treasure forever! Thanks jo and lice for your hospitality.

Nothing! The facilities basic as expected but just perfect for what you need.

Pros:

Friendly and amazing staff/ family who just enjoy life. Food was great too but sometimes a little repetitive but still amazing. Wifi is free not you should be on your phone though and activities are cheap.

Cons:

Only thing was the facilities one of the toilets didn’t flush but you can expect that on an island in the middle of the pacific.

Pros:

Had the chance to spend 3 days in this little paradise with amazing people. This is the kind of stay which really makes you take a step back and have a proper break. Special mention for the spear fishing activity you can do there and also the shark snorkel.

The island itself is small but plenty of activities to be done. The water is the clearest I have ever seen!
The Family are so welcoming and helpful throughout your stay.
The food was amazing and portions were huge.
