Pleasant stay
Pros:

Property was very good & spacious. View was amazing.

Cons:

Reception was managed at another place 100 m away from this location. So, check in was a bit problematic with luggage.

Excellent location, spacious room.
Pros:

Location was excellent, walking distance to so many restaurants, cafes, and other popular spots, but still situated in a quiet area away from crowds. The room was so spacious for the price point, light filled and comfortable. Combo washer dryer in the room was great. Staff were very helpful & organised luggage forwarding for us. This was our favourite stay out of the 5 places we stayed at during our trip!

Cons:

The reception desk was located about 3-5 min walk from the accommodation site, which was not a big deal for us, they provided a number we could text/whatsapp with any questions. But if a 24hr reception desk is important to you, it's something to consider.

Great location and big room
Pros:

The room decor was cute, and location was perfect. You were just enough outside the main city but so many amazing bars and restaurants on your doorstep, we preferred them

Amazing stay at a great property and location
Pros:

Everything! We had a great stay and the view from our suite was fantastic. The apartment is well-equipped and it was really wonderful to come back to the comfortable apartment after a day of waking around.

Pros:

La belle décoration et l'ameublement japonais. Le balcon avec vue sur les montagnes au loin (j'avais l'appartement au 4 ème étage, aux étages inférieurs la vue donne plus sur la maison d'en face). Le calme dans l'appartement. Le confort. La localisation dans une petite rue calme et à proximité à pied de la rivière, des restaurants, du quartier commerçant moderne avec centre commerciaux d'un côté et quartier Gion de l'autre, et à 30 mn de la gare.

Cons:

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de réception sur place pour fairele check-in ou poser des questions, c'est à 5 minutes à pied, mais ça n'a pas été très important pour moi. Pour information, Il y a un bar au rez-de-chaussée avec une terrasse. C'était très calme les 5 nuits où j'y étais parce qu'il n'y avait presque personne.

Basic, clean guesthouse in a great location
Pros:

This is a simple guesthouse in a good location, close to everything but on a quiet side street. The rooms are fairly spacious but the lighting is a bit dreary.

Cons:

The rooms were a bit dreary with bad lighting. There is no front desk staff- you check in at a hotel meant door to get your keys. It’s a very simple place.

Good location and recommended
Pros:

Location was great, very close to Gion and all touristic sites, while slightly away from noisy streets. The street itself is really nice for walking with lots of cafes and restaurants.

Room was spacious, balcony nice and cleaning was outstanding.

Staff were helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

Zimmer nicht so modern und clean wie auf den Fotos. Alles ziemlich abgenutzt.

簡易廚房，方便使用；廁所防滑，很適合帶老人或小孩入住；巷子裡本來就安靜，隔音也算不錯；床和枕頭很好睡；走路三分鐘之內，就有便利商店和蔬果店。

Pros:

Schöne große Zimmer angelehnt an den japanischen Stil. Großer Balkon mit Ausblick, Küchenecke mit Mikrowelle. Tolle Lage zu Gion, Einkaufen, Restaurants und Bars, Bahnen, Tempel, etwas weiter zum Bahnhof (Taxi empfehlenswert, es gibt einen „international friendly“ Stand, den allerdings nur wenige Taxis ansteuern). Im Erdgeschoss ist eine Bar, die allerdings etwas steril und nicht zuverlässig geöffnet ist. Einchecken 2 Min. entfernt im Kyoto Riverview House, auschecken durch Schlüsseleinwurf in einem Kasten im Eingangsbereich.
