Cheap stay but not worth the money paid.
Pros:

Good location, few minutes walk to top of cliff overlooking the sea.

Cons:

Curtains hanging off and covered very dirty window frames covered in flies, dust and general dirt. Only 1 of the 3 bay windows had blinds on and this had half of the slats missing. Shower had so much limescale on over half of the holes wouldn’t work and the rest sprayed all over the place. Poor choice for breakfast, 4 options available.

Disappointing room but nice staff
Pros:

Friendly staff.
Vegatarian breakfast was tasty.
Large room and bathroom, good for 3 people.
Bathroom clean, showers good for different heights.
Local shop opposite which was great for groceries etc.
Alot of restaurants near by.
Beach 10 minutes walk.
Bar downstairs.

Cons:

Room on busy street with traffic and people all night. It was 30 degrees, no ac on 2nd floor, heavy carpet so had to open windows to just get some cooler air. But only set of blinds in middle window, which had panels missing so we had no privacy. Two dark heavy curtains to part cover the window, so then room was hot and noisy.
The picture on Booking.com obviously old picture showing full blinds, cleaner room.
Cups and glasses were not clean, tea and smears on them. Lampshades were dusty and broken.
Door to bathroom was off line so had to really push it shut, which made loud thud on closing. So ended waking each up when using the loo at night.

Said parking available, but only 3 spaces there. Had to park on street and carry bags down the road and up 3 flighta of stairs. Only got the space because someone was leaving or have no idea where we could have parked.

We didn’t expect the Ritz Hotel for what we paid,
Pros:

Staff were pleasant. English breakfast ok.
Accommodation was convenient for where we wanted to visit.

Cons:

Whether it was due to shortage of staff. But the cleanliness was very poor. Accommodation needs updating
The pub area - dirty tables, chairs, floors. Coffee machine, milk jug looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while.
Room - sink and shower, water took a long time to drain away. Water was tepid. Our last morning we had no hot water at all.

Sadly our stay was not great and we ended up leaving and not staying the night, we booked the room as we were attending

Lovely Stay
Pros:

Had a lively overnight stay. Staff welcoming and friendly. Lovely breakfast.

Cons:

My only slightly negative feedback is the room. It was clean but really needs a little tlc. The blinds are all broken and the mattress has seen better days. The bathroom sink was block, but I managed to unblock it. And the mirror is in an awkward place. Invest in a full length mirror for behind the door.
