Gran Hotel Inglés - The Leading Hotels of the World

We had an absolutely wonderful three day- four night stay at the hotel. From the moment we checked in until the day we left felt welcomed and taken care of. The rooms are quiet and beautifully appointed. Try to get a room with a bathtub if possible! The breakfast was delicious, the lobby and bar so comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. But best of all was the amazing staff. They made dinner reservations for us, helped us with train tickets, taxis, recommendations - everything! We hope very much to rerun someday.

Everything was taken care of from the moment of arrival. My flight arrived very early and the front desk opened the spa area for me to shower as they booked train tickets on my behalf. The bar is lovely and the upgraded room was very much appreciated. Would recommend without reservations.

12/10 stay. The staff treated us like long time family and took time to always greet us by our name. Service was incredible, rooms were immaculate and awesome balcony view. The lobby and bar area is amazing and luxurious. Proximity to everything is within walking distance. If you are staying in Madrid you MUST stay here. We were sad to leave but no doubt will be back again. Thank you to everyone on the staff for making it such a memorable stay.

Excellent service and attention by staff. Wonderful location and amenities. The concierge staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. I have a disability and they went out of their way to accommodate me. Can’t say enough good things about them.

This is a beautiful hotel: stylish, clean and with wonderful, friendly service. Beautiful and kind touches from the candy bar in reception, to the welcoming cookies and cake. The gym is also quite nice. The location is fab with a number of great bars on the same street. We loved it!

The hotel is everything you expect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also great. The room was nicely furnished along with a great shower.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Gran Hotel Ingles. The hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance to the museums and shops. The reception and concierge team are fantastic - incredibly welcoming and so helpful, and always impeccable service with a smile. I had a preferential room which was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The gym is open 24 hours and contained everything that I needed. I will definitely stay here again on future visits.

Despite our many travels around the world through the LHW chain, it is rare to find a hotel on the level of the Gran Hotel Ingl's. Of course, like the other hotels in the chain, the hotel is beautiful, ideally located in Madrid, close to everything (just on the street from the hotel there are ten wonderful restaurants and bars...), the service is wonderful, the cleanliness is excellent, the food is delicious. But the Gran Hotel Ingl'es also has the X-factor. The feeling they give you is beyond the one prestigious hotel. It is a feeling that you are part of a family, when each and every service provider truly and sincerely cares (from the room cleaner to the bellboy, the receptionists, the concierge...). Simply flawless. We will return to Madrid if only to stay again in this magical and special place.

We moved from JW Marriott across the street, so this hotel looked a little unassuming from the outside (in an alley). But once you step foot inside, you can immediately tell it's a luxury experience in a historic hotel. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and made you feel that you're truly welcomed here. The soft product was definitely a bright spot. I mean they have a menu of PILLOWS for you to pick.

We booked through the Amex FHR program, so we got to enjoy the incredible breakfast and had another 90eur of property credit. Dinner was also excellent.

Room oozed old school class. While this kind of decor may not be for everyone, I'd definitely come back if I got a chance to -- seems like a lot of stories to be told. Also the room was way more spacious than the pictures would show -- it definitely was a plus when most of the industry do the opposite. We also had a custom welcome letter, cookies, and a tasty cake waiting for us in our room -- they know how to make you feel important.

Hotel inglés is centrally located (barrio de las letras) and our stay there made our entire trip extra special. The rooms are spacious, cozy and immaculate. The hotel Inglés is a historic and beautiful hotel that is top caliber yet warm and inviting like you are family. The staff and concierge are like no other and made out trip extra special. Buenísimo!

What a wonderful hotel! My wife and I had a beautiful 8 nights in Madrid at this well located and lovely spot. It is conveniently located in a relatively quiet street, just steps away from the crowds headed to the Puerta del Sol and Christmas festivities. The room was spacious and beautiful organized and maintained. Every member of the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Each with a smile and great attitude.

A special shoutout to the concierge staff, who were so helpful in arranging our excursions and restaurants. They found us a great guide for Madrid and Seville (Bravo Alfonso!)

Finally, don’t discount the restaurants. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The lobby lounge was comfortable and friendly. The restaurant was also very good and we did not regret the night we wanted to stay close and eat in the hotel. It was delicious.

I stayed for just one night on a short business trip, but was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, and the room was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming after a long day.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gran Hotel Inglés in Madrid. The front desk staff were extremely professional, the concierges demonstrated excellent knowledge, and the bell staff were always attentive. Our room felt incredibly romantic and added a special touch to our visit.

The F&B team delivered exceptional service with great professionalism. We tried the cocido and can easily say it was one of the best we’ve ever had.

Overall, an outstanding experience — highly recommended.

Very good hotel and service. As I have traveled across various hotel brands, their level of service can be compared to bvlgari in Milan. All staffs are really courteous. The location is very convenient. Rooms are really good, size and finishing of shower area is amazing. The restaurant in the lobby is also good, they are a bit over the time but it might be due to all dishes are made then and there, i shows in the quality of the food👌🏻 concierge team is also amazing in getting any booking in restaurants or calling cabs. Overall they made our stay in madrid memorable🙌🏻

I had an amazing dinner at Lobbyto at Gran Hotel Ingles! The food was exquisite and delicious, every dish was a delight. The staff were attentive, professional, and always smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. And to top it off, they made my birthday extra special by bringing out a dessert with a candle and singing 'Happy Birthday' together! Grazie mille for making my evening so memorable!" 😊

The hotel is located in the heart of Madrid which give an easy access to all the beautiful museums, The Cathedral and the Royal Palace etc. I was warmly welcomed as my taxi emerged at the hotel entrance and I was received with amazing smile by the bellman Prince and was introduced to the front desk manager Jorge who did an exceptional job in making sure that my room was ready even before the official check-in time. Every body was very welcoming and I was feeling like a royalty as Prince accompanied me to my beautiful and well made room and gave me a very well detailed tour of the room. My thanks goes to Mark who gave me very good recommendations of nice restaurants and the food was delicious. As a matter of fact I will go back with my family next spring. They are simply the best. Thank you all for your good work.
