The location was great.
It was difficult to regulate the temperature in the room. There were no outlets near the bed.
Everything was amazing, from the daily housekeeping even late in the afternoon, to the facilities, location and the extremely helpful staff. The attention to details is top and prepare to be dazzled.

Housekeeping
Requested to clean room but they were not able to clean room due to they scheduled late in the day when we were done for the day. Had to request just to replace towels.

De bedden slapen heerlijk en het ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid. Het personeel is heel gastvrij en vriendelijk.
Onze douche was overgelopen. Overigens wel heel goed opgelost door het personeel.

We travel extensively and this was one of our favorite boutique hotels. We loved everything about it. We stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our trip (enroute to Madeira), then stayed another night at the end. It is an easy uber ride to the airport. Be aware that you cannot be dropped off right at the hotel, but it is a very short and easy walk with a smaller suitcase. It would be challenging to navigate with a lot of luggage, however. There is an elevator in the hotel. Both our rooms faced the pedestrian street. There was a lot of activity going on for the weekend, but they basically closed everything down at a decent time and it was completely silent. We had a great sleep each night. Our bed was a full king size and the shower was modern and very nice. There are cute touches throughout, with monograms on the pillows, glasses, hairdryer bag etc. The room and hotel are spotless. We loved all the little touches. We had complimentary glasses of wine upon arrival, a free bottle of wine in our room and free pastries in our room upon arrival. There is a pretty garden area on the second floor. We enjoyed sitting out on the front patio on the pedestrian street and watching the world go by. The breakfast was delicious and well worth the extra price. We also loved the prosciutto/cheese bruschetta. Delicious and beautiful presentation. We enjoyed it so much that we went back to get it again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great. It was a very easy walk to the waterfront and markets and there were many restaurants nearby. It was also an easy walk to the main street to catch Uber or a TukTuk.

It was very clean and we had a lovely spacious room with a large comfy bed. The location is great, very central and the staff were very friendly. We were also given a free bottle of wine. We would definitely stay again!
