The common areas are great to hang out in and this hotel has amazing skyline views from the bar.

Un día recibí muchos paquetes y Matt sin que dijera nada se ofreció a acompañarme hasta el piso 19 para poder abrirme la puerta de mi habitación ya que yo tenía las manos ocupadas.
La habitación está ok de tamaño para 1, pero para 2 con equipaje es chica, pero bueno esto es normal en NYC

Second time staying here. The locstion is good and the rooms are cleverly designed. Feel super comfortable for a solo traveller. Reception staff helpful.
The property were having significant issues with the elevators, the cleaning services were reduced and the staff at the cafe were particularly unfriendly over the weekend.
If you review this as a youth hostel, it’s outstanding and for anything around $150/ night this is a great deal. Functional rooms and a well designed cafe/ co-working space. All room controls on an iPad, which works well. Self check-in is very convenient.
However, I ended up paying more than $400/night and at that price it’s misleading to call it a 4 star hotel - they don’t warn you adequately on the website. They call it a 4 star hotel on some websites, which is completely misleading. The elevators are inadequate - 7-8 minute wait each time you call an elevator and then it is jammed with people so you often have to wait for the next round. The room was so small that two people cannot have open suitcases. No iron or ironing board, no real wardrobe. Washbasin is part of the room not in the tiny bathroom. They don’t clean your room by default- need to ask them for towels and sheets to be changed.
In summary, it’s a great 2 star hotel with microscopic rooms and grossly inadequate elevators. Book with that expectation and you will love the experience. Come in thinking of it as a 4 star hotel and you will be horrified.

The property is so carefully designed to maximise space. For a solo traveller it was just perfect and enough room. Everything was clean and the room serviced daily. Really well setup for people managing jet lag. Great neighbourhood with so much to do! I’d rather have been staying here than in Times Square. Upper floor with good view.
For two people it may be a little small.
Super fijn bed, wel erg hoog. Dichtbij metro, leuke wijk en eettentjes in de buurt. Super stille airco, je hoort hem niet.
