A great option in Florence, welcoming and comfortable
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel, spotlessly clean and with a lovely decor. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered very good variety of both cold and warm options. The location is convenient for public transport and access to the main train station, city centre, and tramline heading to the airport.

Outstanding location, service and food
Pros:

Perfect location, various amenities are in walking distance as well as the historic center. Also great if you are coming for an event in Visarno. Also also, a tram and bus stop accross the street. Facilities are spottless and the vibe is immaculate. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the Spa. We loved the breakfast. There were so many options we couldn't try them all.

Overall great hotel with exceptional breakfast.
Pros:

Stands out for the breakfast variety and quality. Francois, the person responsible for breakfast, is exceptional and a real asset to the hotel. Great air-conditioning and water pressure, good and free wifi, comfortable beds, big and clean rooms, nice décor, good spa area.
The hotel is not within comfortable walking distance to the centre, especially during the summer months. But, right outside the hotel there are airconditioned buses (C2) and Trams (T1) that can take you downtown fast. You can pay on the bus/tram by tapping your bank card to a reader.

Cons:

1. In booking.com the hotel was listed as having refundable rooms, "pay at the property" type. We chose those, but at the final step we were forced to pay online to make the booking, otherwise we couldn't proceed. I don't know who is to blame for this discrepancy/dishonesty, booking.com or the hotel.
2. Being a family, we booked and specifically asked (by writing at the hotel) two adjacent rooms. We were told that they will try to accommodate our request. Upon arrival, we were allocated to different floors! They never informed us that our specific request could not be accommodated and insisted on putting the blame on the customer (us) that didn't explicitly say that not having adjacent rooms is a "dealbreaker". This is unacceptable behaviour! Then, they offered to give us two smaller (much cheaper), adjacent rooms but refused to refund the price difference, putting the blame to us again! Anyway, in the end, we took the two rooms in different floors, got used to going up and down the stairs and had a great time staying at the hotel :)
