Extremely stressful and disappointing stay due to rude staff, poor service, and misleading room phot
Pros:

The location of the property was pretty good. On the main street and accessible everywhere.

Cons:

Extremely disappointing experience, mainly due to the behaviour of the staff.

There was a man at reception who introduced himself as the manager. He had long hair and a thin build, and unfortunately, he was one of the rudest hotel staff members we have ever dealt with.

Before and during our stay, we communicated online with the property about arranging an extra mattress. We were informed that there would be an additional charge, which I was completely happy to pay. As we were staying for two nights, we expected the mattress to be provided as agreed. We were specifically told that it would arrive by 5:00 PM, but it never came.

By around 2:00 AM, after waiting and struggling for hours, we still had no mattress. We eventually managed to find some kitchen staff, who were kind enough to help us arrange an extra bed. We really appreciated their assistance, as they were the only staff members who actually tried to help us.

The following day, the situation became even worse. The person at reception approached us very rudely and demanded the full payment for the extra bed, despite the fact that it had only been arranged at around 2:00 AM after hours of inconvenience. He also told us to leave the room. This caused us an enormous amount of stress, especially because we were in Gilgit, an unfamiliar place where we did not know anyone and had nowhere else arranged to stay.

We eventually managed to de-escalate the situation and paid the requested amount, but the entire experience was extremely stressful and negatively affected our vacation.

Another issue is that the photos shown on Booking.com are quite misleading compared with the actual property. The rooms are much smaller than they appear in the pictures, and the overall room conditions were disappointing.

Unfortunately, the poor service, rude behaviour, lack of communication, and room conditions made this a very unpleasant stay. I would strongly recommend that other travellers carefully reconsider before booking this p

Central location, close to the beach and the bed is comfortable. Couple of people from the staff were kind and attentive.

Cons:

The communication before arrival was extremely poor. I was not informed in advance that there would be no hot water in my bungalow, which was a significant issue. When I raised this with the receptionist, his response came across as quite condescending. There was no apology, no prior warning, and no attempt to offer any compensation or otherwise make up for the inconvenience.
The bathroom door had a large gap, and on the second night, a gecko came into my room.

Fantastisch personeel. Super behulpzaam. Prachtuge locatie. We hebben big game vissen gedaan. En een fantastische ervaring gehad. We hebben bijgeboekt. Met snorkelen zeeschilpaddden gezien voor op het strand. Ik kan het iedereen aanbevelen

Dissapointing
Pros:

Close to the beach and walking distance from the jetty and also other bars and venues.

Cons:

Rooms were dirty and mouldy. The rooms back onto the mosque, so you won't get a sleep-in due to the early morning call to prayer. The rooms are very basic: no fridge, or jug or water or anything apart from the bed. Curtains are full of mould, there's paint peeling everywhere and no hot water in the shower.

Heureusement qu’il y’a l’emplacement.
Pros:

L’emplacement.
Le lit étais très confortable.
Petit déjeuner sommaire mais très bon.
Personnel très sympathique.

Cons:

Les photos datent de 10 ans au moins.
Mûrs et salle de bains plus que vétuste.
Le tuyau de la Clim vous goûte dessus au toilettes et pendouille lamentablement à travers la salle de bains.

Tornerei assolutamente in questa struttura
Pros:

La struttura è davvero in un’ottima posizione. Lo staff davvero gentile e disponibile, abbiamo passato 3 giorni meravigliosi in loro compagnia. Bisogna un po adattarsi, ed è quello che abbiamo fatto senza troppo sforzo. La struttura è pulita, e con qualche accorgimento e spirito di adattamento si trascorrono giornate davvero belle su questa isola. Cibo ottimo, cucinato al momento da loro che soddisfano ogni richiesta.
