Das Hotel war sehr schön. Frühstück wirklich hervorragend und Personal sehr freundlich.
Im struggling to top previous reviews as this hotel and its facilities are fantastic. All the staff we came across were smiley and helpful. We had a studio room with seaview and was superb. Could not find anything to fault. Breakfast was a lovely experience with a magnificent choice of food options. Whilst this is an expensive hotel, it is still value for money and recommend it to anyone
Excellent service at the poolside beach bar! The staff are professional, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. A wonderful experience.
absolutely top class - we had a 2 x bed 2 bath appartment B402 in the residences block - superb large apartment with lots of facilities - beds are enormous and comfortable - great view across the bay. Food and service were excellent as was the guest service desk where you can get anything you need booked and arranged. We had a speedboat transfer to Tivat airport which is worth every penny. Cannot fault this hotel. Lovely staff and everything well managed.
Nice location. Outstanding management. Properly trained personnel. Exceptional service.
Nothing.
Beautiful hotel and wonderful facilities. Pool, spa area, beach and room all lovely, cannot fault it.
And the staff were lovely everywhere. Special mention to Guest Services who were amazing, the pool guys and the restaurant team.
Everyone was so lovely and made us feel so welcome.
I looked at the stay via Jet2 and compared to what we paid and we massively over paid by booking direct which left us feeling a little ripped off 😞
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a wonderful stay at Lazure Hotel & Marina and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The entire resort is sumptuous, combining beautifully restored historic architecture with contemporary luxury in a spectacular setting overlooking the Bay of Kotor.
We stayed in the modern building behind the historic accommodation, which has its own separate reception. We had a Garden Room, which overlooked beautifully landscaped shrubs with the marina in the background, creating a lovely, peaceful outlook. The room itself was spacious, beautifully designed, impeccably clean and extremely comfortable. If the rooms in the modern building are this stunning, goodness knows what the historic bedrooms are like!
The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of fresh, high-quality food. Although there wasn’t a live frying station, you could order eggs cooked to your liking directly from the kitchen each morning, which was a nice touch. The coffees were lovely too, although if you prefer them hot, it’s worth asking for them to be extra hot.
The pool area is beautiful, with luxurious sunbeds topped with wonderfully deep, comfortable mattresses. There is a minimum spend of €35 per person to use some of the premium poolside beds, so we chose one of the complimentary cabanas instead, which were excellent. There were also plenty of sunbeds along the beach. If you don’t want to pay for bottled water while relaxing by the pool, simply ask for a glass of water, which is provided free of charge. Our only minor criticism is that the beach appears to be man-made rather than natural sand, but this certainly didn’t detract from our enjoyment.
We also had dinner at one of the on-site restaurants. The food was enjoyable and reasonably priced, but we were disappointed by the drinks. A glass of wine was €7, yet the serving was very small. We also ordered a Baileys for €6 and were served what we understood to be a 3 ml measure. As a standard measure in the UK is 25 ml, we felt this represented very poor value for money. This was the only aspect of the dining experience that let it down.
The location is excellent. There is a lovely coastal promenade that stretches all the way into Herceg Novi, making for a beautiful walk along the waterfront. We walked into the Old Town, which took around 30 minutes. A taxi back cost us only around €3. The hotel can arrange taxis, but we found local taxis to be cheaper.
What really made the experience special was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming and genuinely attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay.
The spa facilities were fantastic, and the peaceful marina setting made it the perfect place to relax.
Lazure Hotel & Marina is one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montenegro. It truly deserves its five-star reputation.
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and great facilities. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Compared to other hotels along the coast, I felt the price was slightly high for what this hotel offers.
Absolutely fantastic week at the Lazure Hotel. The rooms, were spacious, very clean & chiche.
Location & setting were out of this world coming out on the beautiful Marina.
Breakfast left nothing to chance, there was something for everyone & the staff were amazing.
One little niggle is that I couldn’t understand the concept of having to pay for a bed round the pool!
Definitely return in the future & thank you for a special week.
We stayed at Lazure for 1 week mid June, everything about our stay with perfect. The hotel itself, the grounds, the location, and mostly the staff. We were made to feel appreciated, and considered at all times. You’d never walk past anyone without a friendly hello.
The hotel was private and secure, we enjoyed the facilities such as the marina and the beach club. But also in a great location for going out and about.
Herceg Novi is around a half hour walk along the promenade, with lots of options for stopping in the way (recommend Splendidos for pizza and ice cream!) there is a nice mix of busy nightlife and sleepy old town vibes.
As a young couple, we are so pleased we chose to say in a quieter area with the option to then explore outwith the grounds rather than staying somewhere in the centre of one the towns / villages. We had the option to head to busier spots but still had the tranquility of Lazure as our base.
We had lunch at the Beach club and Baguetteria, and dinner once at Augusto. It was all fantastic. The staff are always happy to explain and recommend. ( I recommend trying the Buratta and tomato appetiser, they make it on site and It’s divine! We shared it with some bread to start) We enjoyed recommendations of local wine pairings. We had drinks at Wine o’clock which is just on the marina and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere also.
The room was sparkling clean everyday and the complimentary bottle of water every evening and Rituals toiletries was such a nice touch. The air con was so welcomed and the beds very comfortable!
The hotel kindly booked taxis for us when required. They were always prompt, well priced and the drivers were always friendly. (Note, we found most bars / restaurants we visited were happy to book a taxi if you ask politely. We found it quicker and easier for them to do it than find one yourself, as they use and app (not Uber though) sometimes involves a small walk to meet it, as some streets don’t allow vehicle access)
Buffet breakfast was 10/10. Lots of choice and everything was fresh. We went one day at opening (7.30am and one day just before closing 10.15am and the quality didn’t waver)
Overall, our trip to Montenegro felt like once in a life time trip. Your country is amazing, and we hope to return one day. Although maybe sooner than expected as I fear nowhere will match up now!!
Thank you to everyone at Lazure. X
This hotel could have been beautiful but lots of guests don’t follow the rules and staff do nothing about it making it quite an unpleasant experience to try and relax. You will also be denied water by the pool or beach and made to buy it from the bar instead which is shocking and should be illegal. I understand no outside food or drink but water?? Totally ruined the experience, will not return and would not recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing stay.
