Pros:

Excellent location, walking distance to everywhere. Really nice vibe at the bar, and good bakery too. The sauna is fantastic.

Aside from a couple small things, our stay couldn't have been better!
Pros:

The location was convenient although not "quaint". The staff and amenities were great. The room, although small, was comfortable and provided everything we needed, including a cute little speaker for playing music. We didn't use the free spa, but was pleasantly surprised by the amenity.

Cons:

The location was a little busy, and if you walked down the road in one direction, felt a little "sketchy".

Location was nice, man at check in was helpful.

Cons:

I think we had the worst room in the hotel. The room was very hot, there was no way to cool it down other than opening a window, but our one window overlooked an alley and opened up inches above the ground without a screen. It didn't feel safe to sleep with it open. We were worried something or someone would climb right in. Also, we booked the hotel because it had a parking lot, but they apparently only had a coulple of spaces, which were all full. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed in while in Iceland, but we felt nickel-and-dimed the whole time we were there.

Nice introduction to Iceland!
Pros:

The gym and sauna were a plus.
The universal weight machine needs servicing. It ratchets.

Cons:
