Amazing stay
Pros:

The property is so tidy, clean rooms and a very comfy bed. Istana is owned and ran by a very beautiful family who are very welcoming to everyone. Amazing food and a great pool.

Pros:

Beautiful property with very relaxing vibes! They also helped us book a ride with an experienced local driver to explore other areas in Bali. The curry served by the restaurant was exceptional! Would come back :)

Very pleasant stay
Pros:

Location is a few minutes walk to the beach. Made to order breakfast with plenty of choice. Food at the restaurant is very good. Sometimes there was a bit of a wait, but this seemed to be because everything was made from scratch and this was evident in the quality of the meals. Pool and gardens are very pleasant. Good staff and friendly vibe.

Cons:

Not really a criticism, but the garden rooms are very dark. I think the rooms upstairs would be brighter and have a better view.

The owners were very, very wonderful and the restaurant food was delicious and I could’ve stayed there longer, but I had to continue on my journey otherwise I would’ve gladly stayed for a lot more time. Interesting loyal and wonderful guest also .

Cons:

Too many stairs for me as l am an elderly solo traveler . Certainly moved in to their wonderful place in that condition . Just had to move closer to the Airport l would too soon be departing from .

Everthing. The room, the people, the food, the great pool and the beach with the very small café and its owners. Nova the cab driver advised by the hotel gives a great value for money.

I like everything about this hotel. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable, the staff are great and the food is fantastic, in fact lots of people who stay at other hotels go there for dinner.

Fantastic, we’ll be back.
Pros:

We loved this property to stay at. We only stayed 1 night but it was great, the staff are amazing the food was fantastic and priced right, cold drinks, beautiful views and had a really lovely feel to it, tge resturant also play all the Aussie sports, AFL, NRL etc. We met the owner who were really lovely people.
We will be going back and staying longer next time as we ride around the island seeing and experiencing different things.

Cons:

The furniture is a little dark in some of the rooms but nothing to complain about.
