Climbing 5 flights of stairs to reach room. Noise levels. Owner should invest in soundproofing windows. Noise is constant due to bar as main business activity, coupled to service vehicle noise (collecting glass bottles from bar, rubbish collection, street cleaning etc) which is non-stop throughout the night and early hours of the morning. This is followed by delivery trucks discharging their loads to the myriad of shops which surround this location.
A disaster of a trip from relaxation viewpoint.

There are no lifts, only stairs to this 3rd floor unit. The small bar fridge did not cool anything, but the bar provided me an ice bucket to keep our milk cold. While we were there, trades came in to rip out an old and install a new bathroom on level 2. Their jackhammer was not popular at 6.30am, but they did complete the job before opening time that afternoon.

sometimes when we would come in the staff from the bar next door would come out and ask us what we’re doing as if we weren’t staying upstairs they looked confused yet we weren’t even entering through the bar we were using the fire exit door with the code

The room door is easily accessible from the bar. There is no sign or block on the stairs to stop people walking up, "looking for the toilets". Someone tried the handle of our on the first day which made us nervous for the rest of our stay.

The door was tricky to begin with but after a couple of tries was okay. There was no hand soap in the bathroom just shampoo/shower gel/conditioner.

TV didn't work (couldn't tune in channels and couldn't connect it to the wifi for streaming), water pressure was meagre, a bright spotlight from the pub meant even the black out blinds weren't 100% effective. Pub noise was OK with ear plugs. One of the pub customers banged on my door (despite a "do not disturb" sign on the door) thinking my room was the washroom.

Because of its fantastic location, the premises is on an extremely busy street. At night time there is a lot of noise from revellers in the street below. It can be difficult to get sleep until after 2am.

The noise from outside all night was terrible !this is not the hotels fault . You can hear people, rubbish vans, the windows do not seem to block out any noise. My friend and I got bites during our stay but we checked for bed bugs .. was very strange as I’ve seen the doctor and that is what they seem to think it is. The location is great. The rooms are cleaned daily and half the price of the Westbury next door . Also the tv was impossible le to work … took 3 hours ( and I’m a technical wizz). Ridiculous tv and remote control.

La chambre est propre mais pas dans le détail. Filtre de climatisation plein de poussière, derrière la TV énormément de poussière. Manque d'occultation des fenêtres, un spot de la façade donne en plein sur la fenêtre, nous avons quand pu masqué avec des serviettes.
