Excellent hotel
Pros:

Really enjoyable stay at this unusual boutique hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We loved sleeping in a well-appointed spotless cave with excellent air con and comfortable bed. The hotel is in the Sassi amid centuries of history, rock churches and cave houses.

This area could easily justify a 3 or 4 night stay. We stayed 8 nights and found new things to see and visit every day.

The hotel has a spa with an indoor pool where guests have a complementary sauna steamroom session. It is clean and modern. Guests don't have general access to the pool. It would be even better if guests could use the pool to swim and if the pool were not quite so warm.

We would thoroughly recommend the hotel and the Sassi in Matera.

Struttura molto accogliente e pulita. Ho apprezzato particolarmente l’atmosfera che crea quell’incredibile ed unico mix tra lusso e particolarità. Scenario che puoi vivere soltanto in una struttura incastonata tra i sassi a Matera.
