Pros:

We had a room that had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was cooked to order by a lovely chef and was delicious. Breakfast is served in the conservatory which has a great view over the river. It was in a very convenient location and we would return next time we are in the area.

Pros:

The location was good for the purpose of our visit.
The food was excellent with the prices being reasonable.
The beds were comfortable

Cons:

The shower tray was slippery, it could have done with a mat on the bottom or a grab rail. The water from the basin tap wash was tepid and the pop up basin plug didn't hold the water. it just ran out.
By far the worst aspect was the very loud music from the bar below, it destroyed any chance of sleep.it was still playing well after 11.00 on a Friday and Saturday niight. We rang downstairs Friday night to complain and the staff member told us he would pass our comments to the manager, it must have fallen on deaf ears as the very same scenario happened on the Saturday night It was extremely annoying as we had to set off at 7am for a seven hour drive home. We would challenge any member of the management team to try and sleep with that volume of music being played. We wouldn't use this establishment for accommodation in the future.

Fantastic. A really delightful visit.
Pros:

A fantastic stay. Very comfortable room with lovely view over the river. All the staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Breakfast was lovely all freshly cooked quality ingredients. We had a big family meal for 20 in the pub. Service and food were excellent.

Cons:

Only thing I would say is that if you struggle with stairs ask to book the room on the first floor. You won’t get the view but your knees will thank you!

A fabulous stay!
Pros:

We loved the location next to the river and on the outskirts of Little Hampton. We were welcomed by the owner and staff. The food for breakfast was excellent and with a wonderful view. We ate in the restaurant at one evening and enjoyed our meal and the sunset. The room was clean and the shower was fantastic!
