Geweldige stad, Haarlem
Pros:

Goede nette hygiënische kamer met voortreffelijke douche.
Goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Naast Holiday Inn-The NIU is PATRONAAT gevestigd een soort discotheek met ook live optredens. Dit hebben we in de nacht van 29 op 30 mei 2026 ervaren. Tot 05.03 uur in de ochtend van 30 mei 2026 hebben we het gedreun van de zware bassen gehoord. Echt niet prettig.

Super Hotel für kurze Aufenthalte
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr gut da wir zu einem Konzert im Paatronaat gingen und das gleich nebenan war.
Es war angenehm ruhig in der Nacht.
Unser Zimmer hatte eine sehr gut funktionierende Klimaanlage gehabt was bei den Temperaturen eine Wohltat war.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war spartanisch ausgestattet(kleiner Kühlschrank wäre super gewesen. Den gabs aber nicht)
Der Safe hat verbrannt gerochen daher haben wir uns nicht getraut etwas hinein zu legen.

Gute Lage, super Lösung für eine Nacht
Pros:

Die Lage war super, direkt in der Stadt und nur zwei Minuten Fußweg vom Parkhaus entfernt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir durften uns morgens Kaffee und Tee vom Buffet holen, obwohl wir kein Frühstück gebucht hatten.

Cons:

Das Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen und die Klimaanlage hat nicht ausreichend Luft bewegt, sodass die Luft sehr stickig und feucht war.

Würde das Hotel nicht wieder buchen sorry.
Pros:

Die Lage war super, man konnte die Stadt in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen.
Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und alles frisch.

Cons:

Ich persönlich finde es ganz schlimm, wenn man das Gefühl hat in einer Zelle zu schlafen.
Es ist nicht möglich ein Fenster zu öffnen um frische Luft zu bekommen oder mal durchzulüften.
Nicht jeder kommt mit Klimaanlagen Luft zurecht.
Dann finde ich eine Reinigungsgebühr für einen Hund von 25,50 € pro Tag schon sehr üppig zumal dann nur an 2 Tagen gründlich geputzt wurde wir aber 3 bezahlt haben. Sicherlich ist eine Gebühr gerechtfertigt aber dann sollte man die Rate auch vorher irgendwo sehen und nicht schreiben es können Gebühren anfallen.
Ich komme selber aus dem Bereich Gastronomie und find es wirklich nicht angebracht, wenn der Rezeptionist beim Frühstück hinter der Theke steht und sein Müsli regelrecht schlabbert. Ich gönne jedem sein wohlverdientes Frühstück aber das gehört sich so nicht, genauso wenig wenn jemand mit seinen Gummihandschuhen in der Nase bohrt und dann die Tassen auffüllt.

Clean and does the job
Pros:

Clean and modern. Quirky decoration. Just outside centre but good places within walking distance. Haarlem station about 12 mins walk away

Cons:

For the money paid, hotel could have had more facilities. Didn’t see many staff and temp reception desk is not a good first impression.

Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff! Clean and spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed.

Great location, Haarlem was lovely! In addition, it is also super easy to get to Amsterdam

Pros:

Very very good location. Bus stops 2 mins walk towards trainstation or towards JC Arena. Brilliant! Shops restaurants everything is all around. Hotelroom was nice and cosy. The bed…EXTREMELY comfy!! With bedding’s aswell. Staff r super helpful and kind! Unfortunately I only saw Nick’s name badge. Love him. Breakky was good, for me nothing special but okey.

Cons:

Cant mention too many things…Unfortunately the hotel doesent have a little patio or garden for sunny days. Last day the breakfast wasnt the freshest tbh.

This was the perfect place to stay on my visit to meet my 2-month old great-grandson.
Pros:

The room was small, but contained everything I needed. Everything worked. I also liked the breakfast buffet, which was varied enough that every day’s breakfast did not have to be the same.

Pros:

Nicely located on the bank of a canal, about a 15-minute pleasant walk from the train station through a beautiful neighborhood, and also very close to the city center.
The standard room was simple yet comfortable, clean, spacious, and appeared quite new. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well, and the blackout curtains were a big help. Amenities in the room were limited to a hairdryer, although the hotel mentioned that additional items could be provided upon request.
Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality food, including fresh fruits and vegetables.
I also rented bicycle and enjoyed it very much. It wa well maintained, and e-bikes were available too.

Cons:

There was really nothing to complain about, except for one minor observation.
Although the room appeared clean and I did not notice any dust or dirt, I was a bit surprised that a small paper bag with trash, which I had left in the room on the first day, remained untouched for the following three nights. This gave me the impression that the housekeeping service might not have been fully thorough.
