A modest ryokan in Kawaguchiko.
Pros:

The onsen was great. I didn’t realize they offered ryokan-style services here. The massage chairs were a wonderful discovery—I had no idea they could feel so good. We stayed just one night, so I can’t say much more.

Cons:

The facilities were a bit dated. The walk from the train station to the hotel felt endless in the midday heat in July.

Bom hotel e boa localização! Quartos bem grandes para padrão Japão.
Pros:

Hotel com quartos estilo japonês (futons), muito grandes.
Localização muito boa e silenciosa. Próximo a locais bons para ver o Fuji san.

Cons:

Acho que a limpeza poderia ser um pouco melhor e o atendimento da recepção poderia ser um pouco mais simpático e cordial.

Pros:

Gemütliche Unterkunft, super nettes hilfsbereites Personal. Einrichtung ist zwar schon etwas älter aber alles sehr gepflegt. Das Highlight war das schöne Onsen und das tolle individuelle Frühstück. Es wurde für jeden Gast frisch angerichtet und war sehr reichlich. Wir hatten auch ein Abendessen im Hotel und haben es sehr genossen.

Cons:

Es liegt etwas abseits vom See. Der See wirkt nicht so touristisch. Es ist in der Umgebung alles schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel … location great and comfy bedding.
